Remodeled my wife’s kitchen and use thes lights. Turned out really nice. Bright and easy to install. Here’s before and after pics.

I decided on these low profile lights over the ones with more ratings based solely on the design. The more commonly sold ones don’t really look like recessed lights in my opinion as the lens over the LEDs protrudes out from the white ring and looks more like a very small low profile light than a recessed light. This fixture has a metal ring that has a nice bevel and its depth matches that of the lens, which is more true to what you’d expect with recessed fixtures.My biggest concern was that these had much fewer reviews and the top reviews complained about build quality, but I figured I’d take the risk. Wow, am I glad that I did. First off, I’m not sure what those complaining about build quality expect from the fixtures in this price point. These greatly exceeded my expectations. The fixture is metal, not plastic, and unlike the competition where I saw that they had accidentally used pointed screws that’s were damaging the wires and causing shorts, the screws in this fixture screw away from the wires, eliminating that concern.Regarding installation, they're as simple as it gets. Nut the wires, secure the fixture with two screws, and affix the plastic lens. The only issue I could see someone running into is they only provide two mounting holes at standard box width. If you have a really old fixture it might have an older ceiling box with more narrowly spaced screws. If that’s the case, you’ll have to remove the box cover or use one of the box screws and a short drywall screw to anchor the other hole to the drywall next to the box. This isn’t optimal, but it will work fine for these fixtures as they’re incredibly light.Once installed, these fixtures are stunning. They seriously look just like recessed LED fixtures and are amazingly bright. They perform much better than the recessed LED fixtures I have throughout my house. I went with the 3000K color temperature as we prefer the warmer, incandescent light color and the color temp is perfect. It matches all of the other lights we have, just crazy bright.As long as these last, there really isn’t anything to complain about. I plan on ordering another set to replace some old bathroom fixtures as these will be more than bright enough and they’re advertised as damp rated. From the looks of things, I’d say they shouldn’t have any issues in damp locations. The components on the PCB in the fixture are cleanly spaced and decently protected with an internal, clear plastic cover, just like the bathroom LED fixtures they sell at the big box store that rhymes with “bostco”.If you’re looking for flush fixtures that deliver a recessed look, like I was, stop your search and give these a shot. They look awesome and perform very well. As long as they last a long time, they’ll pretty much be perfect.

Very easy to install and cheaper than the name brands. Hopefully they will last a long time.

I bought an 8 pack of these lights for $60.00. They are around 900 lumen and i replaced some outdated flood lights under my soffits and some ceiling fixtures on my back porch. They are the warm white look, so more natural in line with my other lights. They are designed to fit over 4" ceiling boxes but mine were smaller so i just adjusted them and screwed them into the soffit which worked perfectly. They are damp rated, use little electricity, have around a 120 degree dispersion pattern which works really well for me. An added bonus is they just look better IMHO.

These are super bright. Much brighter than my other 3300k lumen.

So, my house was hit by lighting and all my LED lights went out. I called an electrician he wanted to charge $25 per light replacement and have me get the lights. Or, he would charge $60 per light and he would bring the lights. I was shocked to say the least. The local orange store had the lights at almost $30 each!!I removed one light and began my search on amazon. The lights that my house had were K I C H L E R brand, they were OK lights, not as bright as one would expect but I thought that's how they were. When I ordered these lights I noticed that the diameter where the LEDs and the clear lens were located were smaller than my originals but the holes for installation where the same. 4 inches apart. I took a chance and ordered them.Sure enough they were at my house the next day. I took a deep breath and installed the first one. It went without a hitch, easy install, $25 dollars my A##$$ lol. Man, when I turned on the light I was shocked, super bright! I was so happy. I compared both lights and I noticed that, although the original lights in my house had bigger lens, the LED array was way smaller than these lights. Of course these lights were also 1k stronger than the originals. But I was skeptical since the lens area was so much smaller.I went ahead and installed the first 8 lights that I received and I ordered more. Now some of my rooms that had dim lighting are so bright now! I love it. I cannot tell you what the durability is for these lights but I promise I will revisit this review a year from now. Buy them, you won't be disappointed.
