Great portable solution for light productivity work on a tablet device. A few caveats though...
I've had this keyboard for about 6 months, and use it regularly enough I feel comfortable reviewing it. I purchased this pretty much to go with what you see in the photo, a Legion Go. This is a windows gaming device where the controllers detach to leave a high-powered, work-appropriate Windows tablet. But to really be able to use this, I needed both a separate keyboard and a mouse. Since I carry everything on me, I needed a functional but ultra-portable solution-- I already had a folding keyboard, which was great, but adding a wireless mouse was getting to bulky-- since I'm already carrying charging cables and a portable battery pack. This keyboard is probably one of the nicest folding chicklet keyboards I've used. The build quality is pretty solid, I haven't had any of the keys get loose. The trackpad is solid, but doesn't always register clicks, but I think that's part of the mechanical limitations. I've also noticed that the trackpad is a fingerprint/oil magnet, but so long as you're not doing this for aesthetics it works just fine. The thing has an internal battery charged by USB-C, which is vastly more convenient in 2025 compared to the micro-USB charging ports I've had on other folding keyboards-- and the device charges quickly and has a handy red/blue indicator light. It goes to sleep when folded. It also is great at waking up the device. I found pairing pretty easy. If I wanted to get fancy and pair it to multiple devices there are bright yellow Bluetooth shortcuts above the trackpad. I'm a touch typer and while not as comfortable or as accurate as a full mechanical or laptop keyboard, it feels as good as you're going to get for one of these devices. I use this mostly for writing emails and notes at work. For light productivity, it works great, but if you're going to be typing a 20 page term paper on your tablet, I'd suggest a full keyboard and mouse setup-- this isn't the most ergonomic solution, but to be fair, none of these folding keyboards are. One of the things I like is that it comes with a handy sleeve that closes with a magnetic button, it's a great touch that protects the keyboard without adding much in the way of bulk. It also comes with a phone/tablet stand that I'm sure is great, but I put to the side. There is a tiny little pocket in the sleeve for that. At $60 it's literally a third the cost of a Surface Pro keyboard, and about a quarter of the cost of folio keyboard option for Apple. I'd say it's a great option, especially if you find yourself limited by a touch screen. It also could be used with game consoles for the rare times you need to enter text such as character naming or entering in passwords when you don't want to use a controller.

Convenient and easy to use travel keyboard
I like this keypad, it is responsive and is almost full sized to a regular keyboard. The attached touchpad is a feature I was looking for as I connect this to mobile devices when travelling and I dont have to worry about a separate mouse. It has the feature to connect to three Bluetooth devices and switch between them using the buttons but I have not used that feature yet. No issues so far and works as expected!

Good for Carrying in Bag
This keyboard is light weight, compact, and easy to carry. The case is perfect and doesn’t add too much bulk when inside of it. I like the ability to connect to three devices and switch between them with a press of a button (phone, macbook, and ipad). The keys are smooth, with a good amount of sound when typing. The trackpad is a learning curve. It comes preprogrammed with swipes that I have not fully adjusted to; the three finger swipe to go between apps is through a feature that I find incredibly touchy . The trackpad is louder than I would prefer and doesn’t always respond to the swipe commands as the instructions imply. I would still recommend this keyboard to anyone who is looking to travel with one because its dual function and overall construction is still good!

Surprisingly capable travel keyboard that actually earns its space
Compact without feeling cramped. The folding design is sturdy and locks flat with no flex while typing. Key travel is better than expected for this size, and spacing is close enough to a full keyboard that I adjusted within minutes. Pairs quickly and stays connected across my phone and tablet without hiccups. Battery life has been excellent so far, and the auto sleep helps when tossing it back in the pouch between uses. The included case is a small but meaningful win. It protects the hinge and keeps everything together in a bag without adding bulk. If you need something truly portable that still feels usable for real work, this hits the mark.

This keyboard is Wow
I'm a little unsure of gow to start this review. This keyboard makes me go WOW! So let's take it in parts: I got this for work, because using a regular mouse and keyboard setup has given me bursitis in my shoulder (I'm short, which means I reach further forward to get to these devices than other people). I wanted a combo device I could keep in my lap so I don't reach forward so much. I already use a lap pillow for ergonomic support for my forearms, so this was an easy swap. First, the packaging is incredibly lovely. Whoever designed it needs a raise. Not only was it nicely boxed, but the keyboard itself comes in a beautiful little buttoned travel holster with a pocket for the stand. Second is just ease of use. I charged it first (easy, USBC) and flipped it open - it instantly started trying to connect. My Bluetooth detected it right away and connected easily. It worked without having to reboot or troubleshoot. Third, the keyboard mouse combo is essentially why I bought it, and works really well. Fourth, the keyboard is essentially complete and doesn't have any weird truncated keys. It has the delete, page up and down, control, function, and quotation keys all accessible and in the right places. Finally, it has a Settings key, which I hadn't realized was missing in my life until they provided it 😭. AMAZING addition!! Caveats to consider: I wouldn't necessarily call these "negatives", but they are worth considering before buying. There isn't a way to lock the keyboard open, so it can fold up unexpectedly if it's not placed flat. I use it in my lap, and it honestly hasn't been an issue. It's not terribly ergonomic in terms of curved keyboard, raised keys, etc. However, my goal was to just stop reaching forward so much for my mouse and typing. Having both accessible in my lap has helped immensely with that. It doesn't have a full separate number pad. However, I already have a Vaydeer programmable extension keypad, and am happy with that. When not in use, just fold it back up to save the battery! I'm buying a second in another color for my personal laptop. ❤️❤️

Decent Portable Foldable Keyboard with Touchpad – ProtoArc XK01 TP Does the Job but Not Premium
I’ve been using the ProtoArc Foldable Keyboard with Touchpad (XK01 TP) for several months now as a travel and on-the-go option for my tablet and laptop. It’s a tri-fold Bluetooth keyboard that unfolds to a reasonably full-size 88-key layout with a built-in multi-touch trackpad, and overall it does exactly what it advertises: it’s compact, connects quickly to multiple devices (up to 3), and gives you basic typing + pointing capabilities in a portable package. Pros: • Folds down small (about 8.5 x 4.7 x 0.8 inches) and comes with a handy PU leather carrying case and phone stand, making it easy to toss in a bag. • The scissor-switch keys feel decent for travel typing — quiet and responsive enough for emails, notes, and light work. • The trackpad supports common gestures (scrolling, clicking, etc.) and works fine on Windows and iOS/Android. • Battery life seems solid with the rechargeable design, and Bluetooth pairing is straightforward and reliable. • Great value if you’re on a budget and just need something functional for occasional use. It’s lightweight and convenient for coffee shops, travel, or using with a tablet when you don’t want to carry a full setup. Cons (Honest Take): It doesn’t compare to premium options like the Apple Magic Keyboard or some higher-end Bluetooth keyboard cases. The key travel and feel are shallower and less refined, the build quality feels more plasticky, and the hinges don’t lock rigidly — you really need a flat surface for stable typing. The trackpad is usable but not as smooth or precise as what you get on dedicated laptop trackpads or flagship accessories. After regular use, it just feels “good enough” rather than enjoyable for longer sessions. If you’re looking for a cheap, portable Bluetooth keyboard + touchpad combo that gets the job done without breaking the bank, this ProtoArc model is a solid budget pick. It’s reliable for light productivity on the go. But if you type a lot or want that premium, laptop-like experience, you’ll probably be happier spending more on something like a Magic Keyboard or a better-built alternative.

Best to use though slightly larger and heavier than others
This is a terrific portable, foldable keyboard. I can't tell you how many keyboards of used and tested, including travel keyboards. This keyboard is the closest to a standard keyboard I've come across. Very comfortable to use, the keys and layout standard and the quality exceptional. The touch is comfortable and the layout intuitive. The track pad is functional and properly placed to the side to avoid accidental contact. Definitely recommend this keyboard. The only drawback is that the keyboard is slightly larger and heavier when folded. But I do think that is a compromise worth making for its near full size and the ergonomics.

Touchpad not great - the rest is pretty good.
Overall it's not a bad keyboard if you just need the keyboard. Unfortunately, I don't know if I got a little bit of a dud, or if the sensitivity doesn't work with my fingertips but the scrolling with the touchpad is 50/50 at best for me. I can sit there trying to scroll for a minute and it won't move, then it will just start working fine for a few minutes, then it's intermittent. The pairing, and keyboard itself feels nice, typing is responsive, and I do like it, but I got it specifically for the touchpad and it's a bit frustrating to use that part. I'll likely be returning it, but I haven't made up my mind quite yet. Just wish the touchpad was better.

Way more value then I expected for the price...great job ProtoArc!
I absolutely love this keyboard. First off all it is surprisingly sturdy and very well built with the hinges feeling incredibly strong. The way it folds up makes it ideal for my usage and taking it home from the office each night. The trackpad works alot better then I thought it would with no missing function on a Windows laptop. My next think is trying on my Samsung Tab S10 Ultra for editing using LumaFusion. If it works for that then we have a fantastic winner here!

Great wire keyboard compact for travel.
I like it. I had to purchase tiny stands as i found it a bit too flat. Connects fast vua blue tooth, no issues.

Money went to quality, Good build, Good design, Durable, Convenient
Honestly, even tho it costed more then other options, I'm glad I went with this one because it looks like the money was put more into the quality. I love that it turns off when you fold it closed. The cycle between each Bluetooth device. It's USB c charge which is the most convenient. It has a good size, works on my phone, TV, laptop, tablet with ease. Hmm if I was to think of a flaws? Err.... There isn't really any unless you like to eat over your keyboard 😅 then your kinda asking for problems. Oh and some people want to know this, this keyboard focuses WINDOWS first, over Mac. I had a keyboard that focused Mac before windows and it was annoying changing it with each boot up. I have not tested it on Mac, so maybe this info won't matter. 😁🫡 (If you are wondering what tablet is in the background to size reference, its a Galaxy Tab S9+)

honteux
