LS2 Helmets Modular Valiant Helmet

Never thought I’d spend this much on a helmet but this is big time bang for your buck and actually a really good value. The modular aspect is fantastic. Had to return for next size up but this is super comfortable. I did not get too much wind noise, wasn’t bad at all (behind a windshield). Ventilation is good. Transitioning from full face to open, to shield down to darker shades are all very simple while riding. Helmet is not too heavy, I already rode for hours with no issue. Wish I bought this helmet years ago and will buy again if the time comes for replacement, I think it is a terrific value, very versatile and actually entices you to want to wear a helmet. BTW, it is a very good looking helmet. Field of vision is amazing for a full face modular. Additionally, I wear prescription glasses and the helmet is very glasses friendly. Very pleased with this model.

Nice quality having not worn yet. Looks great. Fits well and appears to have easy functions.

I’ve had this helmet for a couple years now is the absolute best helmet I’ve ever had. There’s an absolutely no wind noise whatsoever. It’s very sound very comfortable. I’m gonna buy a back up. Love the fog guard. 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

Originally ordered this helmet according to the LS2 website for a small size, but chart was not correct or I have more of an oval head shape then I thought. Medium was the right size for my 56cm noggin. After trying a variety of modular helmets, this was the only one that didn't make my face feel like it was holding a brick when flipping up the chin. With the full rotation back, the weight is balanced evenly and is very comfy in either closed or open position. Because I wear glasses, it's really sad that there is not a breath deflector as the face vent does not seem to generate enough breeze to compensate for what I exhale. Will figure something out, that is how much I love this helmet. Only real down thing I have to mention is that the seller mailed the helmet in it's sales box. Not much protection and way too much advertising of what was there for me to be happy with, but I received without damage or incident, so I will get over it ;-) Great helmet for the price !

This helmet is basically a Shark called an LS2 (shark 2?). Beautiful Pearl White gender neutral, chin gaurd can be pushed all the way to the back of the helmet out of sight out of way.3/4 clear face shield, tinted visor slides in or out. Quick release neck strap super easy but feels secure. Only found my larger size on Amazon these helmets tend to require your next size upGood venting quiet for a helmet (lol) but put the shield down and crank the music. Helmet had chin scarf sounds uncomfortable but feels great.Has cushion on back neck pretty sealed but good fresh air can easily lift chin gaurd and have open nose down.Great Helmet!

Helmet was defective. Had not been assembled correctly and vents were lose and rattling in the wind and top air vent was lifted almost completely out of the helmet. Returned under warranty and business only credited, me 2/3 of the purchase value , that's not a warranty that's theft. Don't buy from this business owner or this manufacturer on Amazon because they'll just rip you off. I'll refuse about return process we're wiped clean and were only found after return on hidden page describing how terrible and rip off that this business was but a lot to operate by Amazon.

So I've bought this helmet 3 times now the sizing chart they have is a joke but I went with it first it said I was a medium that wouldn't even go on so I got a large that was so tight I got a head ache instantly from the crushing pressure i took it on a test ride and the wind noise was terrible you cant even hear yourself think then I got xl and it was so loose on my head it wouldn't stay in place I know the oval shape of your head plays a role in fitting helmets too so im assuming it's that but this is still ridiculous I was trying to save a few bucks online but that's not gonna be the case for me anymore ill just have to go with something I've tried on and definitely with less wind noise

I love this helmet, I did go to a cycle shop and tried on other helmets. Full face helmets offer the best protection when riding. This helmet has pads on the chin straps, is light weight, love the visor system.Also came with a dark sun shield if you want to change out from the clear, does have drop down sun glass also.Overall a wonderful helmet. Very happy with my purchase.
