When the bite is hard to get
When the fish just don't seem interested in anything else, these little jigs are the way to go. I'm not a huge fan of the Drop Shot or Wacky Rigs and don't keep either of those rigged up all the time. But when you know you need to switch to a smaller finesse bait this is a quick way to rig something up and get back to fishing in a hurry with out all the rigging hassle, just tie one on, slap on your favorite soft plastic for a trailer and your done. This is a favorite of mine for fishing small ponds or even large lakes that see a lot of fisherman every day. I try to use the lightest one I can throw to make sure it falls/sinks as slow as possible. About my choice of trailer, sometimes I add the biggest attention getting "creature bait" I have if I'm wanting to add bulk to the bait. If I want to keep it simple and small I just pinch off a back end of a old used curly tail worm or even a stick bait (senco). When these drop below $2 it's well worth getting a couple to have on hand. I keep waiting for the Black/Blue to get in that $1.70 price range.... Amazon???? Can you make that happen? Anyways, these Strike King Bitsy Bugs are a quality made lure and no I don't fish with them every time but I also don't go to the water with out at least one or two (one dark and one light colored) in the tackle bag. They get my recommendation.

High quality jig at affordable price
Compared to other low cost jigs, these seem to have better paint jobs and skirts. Good jigs for down sizing and for ponds.

Tiny little swim jig
3/16 ounce swim jig. Overall size is about just under 1" 1/2 from the head to the hook. It does not have a much brown/orange in it like the picture. It's light orange/brown skirt with green flakes. And a maroon/brown head

I love throwing these smaller Jigs.
Smaller stuff usually always gets a bite. These little jigs really work well. I have almost every color. Perfect for those shy bass who don't want to hit a bigger bait. For the price, how could you deny these? Great colors, strong bands holding the skirt, good hooks. Never had an issue with these lures rusting or breaking. Buy one, or 2!

Yep this thing works
Great lure saw from a video. And when I went to test this. I was blown away. Finally not one for like 10 bucks. 2 dollars is incredible works great too.

Nice finesse jig
These are nice little jigs that catch fish, but there are several things that keep this from being a five star review. First is the price. While they normally sell for around $2 outside of Amazon, some of the sellers on here are listing them for over $6, which is outrageous. I would expect that of some of the higher end stuff sold on Tackle Warehouse, but this is a mass produced Strike King Bitsy Bug, not a hand tied Japanese import. Sellers need to quit the idiotic price gouging based on “demand.” The second is the smallish hook. This little jig could really benefit from SK selling it with up to a 3/0 hook. Just because it’s a finesse jig, it doesn’t need to be that underpowered. I think hook penetration and fish retention would improve greatly with the larger hook, even if it was a light wire. Just yesterday I had a bad episode with these hooks. I was using a 3/16 oz Bitsy with a 3” Chigger Craw trailer, and found a pretty good pack of good sized smallmouth. I lost four straight fish that should have been solidly hooked, including a fish that was well over 20”. After each one, I inspected the hook point, but really couldn’t find that it had dulled substantially or the point had rolled. I was fishing the jig using a Dobyns Sierra 733c, 20 lb. braid and a 12 lb. fluoro leader. That should be MORE than enough to drive that hook home, and with the pressure those fish put on it, the hook should sink. But that little 2/0 hook is underpowered and the gap is too small. A larger hook, say a 3/0 would do wonders for the hook up/ratio. I may try bending an offset in the hook the next time I go out, that might make a difference, but c’mon Strike King, help a guy out here. Lastly is the keeper. A different style keeper would do wonders in improving the life of trailers. The keeper collar on these jigs is so thick and short that even if you can force the trailer on, it slides down after a bite or fish and tears the bait. I’m sure one of the ways Strike King keeps the cost on these down is by manufacturing this the way it currently is, but it would be an awesome little jig with a few improvements. And it wouldn’t hurt if sellers on Amazon would stop trying to rip people off for a product that was clearly intended to be marketed in its current state as very inexpensive. And I’ve edited this post since I initially made it to add the hook experience from yesterday. Coincidentally I received an order from Amazon of four more Bitsy Bugs that were supposed to be Okeechobee Craw. They came in Black/blue. Not good Amazon, I might have to look elsewhere for a good little finesse jig.
