Easy to use, good value for money, will get plenty of work out of these

On quality of the scribe, it is what you pay for, it's not terrible but it's no where near what a higher quality/more expensive scribe would be; though I will say that it's a great beginner scribe and with the amount of spare tips that come with it and the low cost per unit, if you are doing dirty work or anything where you may easily lose or break the tool then this is great for that. Functionality wise it fulfills its basic function of scratching into metal and hard surfaces, though you have to really tighten the holding jaw as the point may point may spin, though it's not a big problem. Considering the price and the fact it has a useful magnet on the end, I'm overall happy with the product, though time will tell for it's lifespan in the workshop.

What do you need this for. Inscribing discreetly your post code into items you don't want stolen, as it effects the resale value to handlers. Definition touch up on moulded items arts and crafts wise . Even de rusting items in your tool shed or kitchen. A brilliant piece of kit.

Liked this product. I use scribers to do dimensional layouts on steel surfaces, the tungsten tip far out does any hardened steel tip scribers by far, even if there is a carbon scale on the steel being scribed, these tips scribe everything other than carbide or diamond. great product and has a magnet on the other end to pick up small screws or whatever that is attracted to magnets. buying the 4-pack with more tips is the best buy. No regrets about getting these scribblers.
