FINALLY!
Have been looking for a explosive, quick responding cymbal with a short sustain for use with my cajon. This cymbal fits the bill. Hand crashing is possible, but I typivally use bamboo rods or nylon brushes as a ride. The 12" diamter makes it easy to pack on my padded cajpn case. I wasnt expecting much bcause of the low price, but was blown away by the sound quaity.

Great value
Sounds great a little darker than I expected, but I like it. Was delivered faster than expected.

Legit!
The reviews are accurate - this cymbal sounds good! Easily in the company of higher priced brands. If you told me this was zildjan k or sabian ozone I would not be at all surprised. Form the price it’s astounding. So is this a bigger splash or a smaller crash? Take your pick. It occupies a unique niche. I bought this to stack with, but think it’s too good for that. Now I have to rethink things a bit, but I wouldn’t return it.

This is Crazy
For forty dollars? A cymbal that has no harsh overtones? No. Never. Not possible. Even cymbals from well respected manufacturers that cost FIVE HUNDRED dollars have harsh overtones. I have personally gone through a friend's collection of dozens of cymbals, all brand name, Zildian, Paiste, etc. only to, after days of testing, find TWO that didn't suffer from some unpleasant overtones. I'm using my kit only in the studio. I have complete control but I do need the gear to cooperate! For recording, I need to be picky about everything. I only want the best. But, what did I have to lose? With the two nice Paiste cymbals I have, I had everything I need. I bought this Chinese wunderkind mystery cymbal based on nothing but curiosity, after reading all the reviews. One word. Unbelievable. This is one of the best sounding cymbals I've heard. Did I get lucky with what folks call inconsistent quality? Who cares? I'm no expert, but this cymbal is a KEEPER. I'm glad I dove in! Go WUHAN!

Excellent value for the money, in my opinion
When it comes to drumming, I am simply a hobbyist, that's it. I have a basic beginner's kit and can't afford to drop much into it, but I like to make mild upgrades here and there. As such, I'm always looking for good value for the money. This is my second Wuhan cymbal (the first being their 18" crash/ride), and, while I don't have any other brands to compare to in person (I've listened to cymbals from various manufacturers online, but you can only tell so much without hearing them live), I must say that...again, considering value and quality for the money spent...I'm not sure I could be any more pleased. To my ear and for my purpose, this (along with the previously mentioned crash/ride) cymbal is quite nice and is a fine addition to an beginner's kit.

Great value
Good size with a lot of "meaty" sound for a 12" cymbal. Trashy, yet still a rich, full sound.

Don't be fooled by the price
This adds a nice touch to my kit. It sounds better than the price would indicate. Will it last? I don't know. But after a few weeks of using it, it shows no signs of damage or warpage and I've hit it hard. It has good sustain. Very pleased.

Better than others
Sounds better than other 12" cymbals that start with a Z
