Looked for ages for something that looked nice to go in the front room on a side table and this does the job nicely

Only Works intermittently
I have an iPhone Xs plus, as it’s the same size as an 8 plus I thought it would be ok. It does charge as long as I keep an eye on it and keep checking the connection, if I leave it when I return my phone has died. The only function it really has is as a stand for my phone, but I prob wouldn’t have paid so much for a stand for my phone
