Couldn'trecharge battery after one cycle, but the seller refunded my money then sent a new one.
Worked as advertised until the battery ran down and it would not recharge sufficiently to shine a bright beam of light. The seller was kind enough to refund my money although it was beyond the 30 day window for returns. Then, they sent a new puttlazr free of charge. What great service! I highly recommend this seller!!

Works great for more than just putting drills
Works great. I have found many different uses for both putting and using as a virtual alignment rod for full swing drills also.

Save over a $100 Dollars
I viewed several laser putting aids online and found that most cost $100 or more so how could they sell this for under 30 Dollars? I decided to try it and was pleasantly surprised. The laser is bright and the mounts do the job. The laser Putting aid featured in the 2025 PGA Show cost $149.00. Like this one, the laser appeared bright it had a stationary floor mount but did not have a putter shaft mount and appeared not to have angle adjustments. It did have a price tag of more than $100 over this item with fewer features and no apparent end-use benefit. Save yourself the money if it fails buy yourself 4 more it's the same cost.

maybe but not for me
It didn't work for me. I returned it. It gives what it is supposed to give. Yet, it isn't a great option for your putting exercise.

This laser alignment putting trainer arrives well packaged, undamaged, and with all components clearly matching what is described on the product page. Overall, it presents as a well-thought-out and premium-feeling kit that is suitable for both beginners learning proper fundamentals and experienced golfers looking for precise feedback on their putting alignment and stroke—especially during the off-season or winter months when outdoor golf is not an option. Setup is straightforward and flexible, with two primary ways to use the laser. The first option is clamping it directly onto the putter shaft. This uses a jaw-style clamp that opens easily to accept different shaft thicknesses, followed by a secondary micro-adjustment screw that tightens everything securely. Once attached, the laser stays firmly in place. The most time-consuming part of this method is ensuring the laser is perfectly perpendicular to the putter face, though fine adjustments can be made using the ball mount where the laser sits. While this works well for most putters, golfers with larger or uniquely shaped putter shafts—such as certain Odyssey models—may find the clamp does not sit high enough, limiting this option. The second option, and for many the preferred one, is using the included tripod. The laser mount simply unscrews from the clamp and attaches directly to the tripod, allowing you to place it on the floor to project a straight reference line. This setup lets you address the ball naturally, just as you would on the green, while clearly seeing whether your backstroke and follow-through stay on line. As an added bonus, the tripod is versatile and can also be used with action cameras if you have the appropriate attachments. In use, the laser performs very well. The red laser line is bright, crisp, and easy to see even in a well-lit room, and it extends farther than most indoor putting setups would ever require. It provides an excellent visual guide for both alignment and stroke path, helping reinforce consistency and focus. The unit is lightweight, easy to move around, and quick to assemble, making it convenient to practice anywhere—whether in a basement, living room, or even during short breaks in a home office. Build quality is solid throughout. All threaded parts turn smoothly, clamps tighten securely, and nothing feels flimsy. The battery life appears strong, with no need for frequent recharging during regular use. One minor drawback is the use of a mini-USB charging port, which feels dated, and the kit does not include a charging cable or power adapter. While this may not be an issue for users who already have compatible cables, it is something to be aware of. Despite that small limitation, this is a very effective and fairly priced indoor putting trainer. It delivers exactly what it promises: clear alignment feedback, ease of use, and versatility. For golfers looking to improve their putting stroke, maintain their feel during the off-season, or simply get reliable alignment feedback at home, this tool is a valuable and practical addition to a practice routine. In summary, there is no perfect tool, but this is as close as it can. It helps with alignment and did improve my putting alignment. I would recommend this item to others.

Putter Laser A review of: :Red Line Indoor Golf Putting Trainer - Perfect Alignment Tool" The parts to this laser tool are securely packed in foam so they are not damaged. You get a USB-A/USB-Mini charging cable (about 6" long is sufficient), a storage pouch, a mini stand, a club attachment, light holder and of course the laser itself. A booklet is included and describes how to put it together. I don't care for the fact that they use a mini plug to connect to the laser but I guess it's small size determines the need. The pouch? Not to sure I'd keep these parts in there as they would be loose. My personal preference is to store them in the original box (with foam) it came in. MUCH more secure. The holder that attaches to the putter shaft is pretty simple and easy to install. Make sure it is tight enough so when the laser is actually in use the whole setup doesn't rotate on the shaft. The part that holds the laser has a really strong clip that you need to 'pop open'. You will need a fair amount of force to open it but rest assured, it won't break (at least it didn't for me). You'll find the proper angle to apply significant force to open it. In use (like in a 'sort-of' dark room--it does work in a normally illuminated room so don't be concerned about that), the effective working distance for this laser is about eight feet (4ft in front of putter head and 4ft behind) BUT only when it's clamped to the shaft. This is more than adequate to help you maintain a consistent sight line IF you have a straight back-straight forward stroke. There is also a mini tripod included that you can also use (not at the same time as on the shaft) to set up a straight line on the floor where ever you want to practise. This method will give you a straight line for about 20' or more if you are putting on a totally flat surface. It is very adjustable front to back. Set the laser line so it's lining up as close as you can to the hole. REALLY IMPORTANT: I found that if I place the tripod in an elevated position and adjust the light, the line created is easily 20 ft or more, is perfectly straight (even uphill) and can be seen in a darkened environment. Does it work? This is the reason why you might want to get this tool. Personally, I need to adjust how I can use this. I have always done a 'straight back-straight through follow through' and for that method I think this is pretty darn good. The other putting method is in an arc (not straight). Doing it in the arc (currently the way most teachers suggest) I find that I have a hard time adjusting as the line now moves in a semi-circle. At contact point the laser line still needs to be parallel to your shot path but I find it a bit disconcerting seeing the line rotate as opposed to really just being a straight line. You really need to focus on the contact point and not really watch the line rotate as you swing. It can work with both types of strokes, just that the 'arc' stroke requires a bit more concentration by you when using the laser. It is probably best to use the tri pod if using an arc stroke and the shaft attachment if using a straight stroke. It arrives with a partial charge so charge it before use. While charging, the light near the on/off button is red. When fully charged, the light turns off (does not turn green as you might expect). 4* as it does do what it's supposed to do--sort of. It depends on what type of stroke you have. The shaft attachment really only works (for me) if I have a straight stroke. Maybe this was their intention?? If you have an arc, then only the tripod will be helpful. Time will tell if it (actually ME) can improve on my putting.

Package arrived undamaged and contained all the items identified on the product page. The seasons have changed and outdoor golfing is over for another year, now time to setup a mini putting practice area in the basement and hook up this laser alignment trainer. This is a really good product or gift for the golfer just starting out or a seasoned pro just looking for some feedback on putter alignment. There isn't much to getting started, you have two options of clamping it to the club or using the included tripod for a stationary line. Clamping it to your putter is super easy, there is a jaw like clamp you open up and insert the club shaft. There are two tightening mechanism, the first is the jaw clamp then there is a micro adjustment clamp at the bottom of the clamp to firm it up. The hardest part is making sure your aligned perpendicular to your club face, you can also do some micro adjustments using the ball mount the laser sits in. Personally, I prefer to use the included tripod. The top of the clamp that holds the laser just unscrews and you screw it onto the tripod. This way I can just set it on the floor to make my line they I can setup my putter normally like I would on the green. i can watch my back stroke stays on the laser line throughout my back swing. The power port is a little outdated with a USB mini input and it doesn't include a cable or charger. I have about a thousand cables of all types and chargers so I doesn't really affect me, I actually happy I didn't get yet another cable and charger with this thing because I already have so many. However, if you don't happen to have the cable or charger, you're going to need to get one. Functionally, it works as it should. The laser line is bright, easy to see and extends farther than you'd likely need to practice some indoor putting. The battery seems to last a long time, I haven't had to recharge it yet. The clamping device is manufactured well, all the parts that screw turn easily and clamp tightly to hold everything in position.

This is a handy laser accessory that attaches to the shaft of your putter and projects a straight red laser line to help with alignment. It also comes with a tiny tripod similar to a webcam stand so you can place it on the floor to project a guide line instead. The kit includes a charging cable and a pouch. My only gripe is that it uses an old mini USB port for charging instead of USB C which would have been much more convenient. Personally I found it more effective to set it on the floor and practice hitting straight along the projected line rather than attaching it directly to the club. It is a practical training aid and makes for a great gift for any golfer. I recommend it.

To be honest, I was not expecting much. But this kit feels pretty premium. Meaning, that the equipment provided, the attachements, the laser itself, all look and work better than what I was expecting. Off the bat, the kit packaging looks professional and the equipment within is well protected. Kit includes 2 options to use the laser alignment tool. Attaching it to your putter or using the included tripod, to mount the laser onto it and use the laser lighting to provide a guide line to follow. Quick note, for those using action cameras, this tripod can actually be used for them as well with the proper attachments of course. The laser is surprisingly quite bright, even in a very well lighted room and provides a clear path or motion to follow. Attaching the laser to the putter is a simple twist and lock type of mechanism that allows you to go from thick or thing putter size shaft and stays put quite well once locked in. This will come in handy during the long winter days, waiting for golf courses to re-open. I will play with this alignment tool and see if I can improve my putting game.
