My kid has had loads of fun making badges. There was a bit of a learning curve, but after a few goes they have spent the last week ensuring everyone and everything has a bespoke badge.

I was expecting this to be a badge maker aimed for children. But it was instantly apparent this is likely a semi-professional machine. It’s a full complete kit. Ideal for small business, events, schools. Besides the pressing machine. It comes with a variety of badges. Large and small ones. Plus a small keychain one, and what it seems to be a Large bottle opener. I can’t confirm this, nothing in the manual. Plus, you have a small and large circular paper cutter. These are great, they cut the exact size for the badges. They are adjustable, if you wish to cut something for another project. The only issue I have to raise about these, is there is excess plastic on the edge of the circle. I had to file it down. Finally, you get pre-cut circular papers. You can create your own art or message for your badge. Set up is easy. Only three parts need to be attached. If you follow the instructions. Note that it features three models. Make sure you follow the correct model. The pieces attach with magnets. No tools required. The process to make a badge is easy. Step A, Place the metal badge base, then circular paper (one you cut or one provided) into holder labelled A, plastic on top and turn it under the presser. Press down on the handle until you hear a click. Into holder B, place the back of the badge, which has the pin. IMPORTANT, position this so the pin aligns with the top of the badge. Turn hold B under the presser and press down firmly. Then you’re done. The end result is great, the badge looks great and professionally done. The plastic firmly fixes on top. Now, for some reason, one of the badges we made, the plastic didn’t attach firmly on one edge. So, inspect the badge after finishing. The build quality is very good. It is all metal and feels sturdy and strong. It is a manual badge maker. So, making large quantities of badges, will feel like hard work. But the end result is rewarding.

Very easy to do. I found the booklet quite informative I needed to also look at the pictures for guidance. I am trying the purple machine which has its own section. The parts are so simple they just are held in place by the magnets - A. Mould goes in the A slots and B mould in the B. My box is plain but full of accessories. There isn’t any pictures though. But the circles are great for drawing my own designs. There are cutting wheels to use as templates and they also cut out my own papers. My worry here is it’s very sharp. I’ll use them on a cutting board - not supplied or a couple of layers of the cardboard. It does say children to be supervised. I will do the cutting but they can do the rest supervised. Once I gave it a good push down it’s great. This machine is fun and easy, I’m looking forward to making lots of key rings and the children can help.

Really annoying, the smaller pin badges work fine, but there are no instructions whatsoever on how to switch to the 58mm badge moulds, I figured it out in the end, but now the back side of the pin won’t attach to the badge design, wasted so much time and materials trying to make it worth and nothing, can’t get in contact with the seller either. Frustrating. I didn’t receive any washers either which were advertised.

The badge making machine set comes with 2 interchangeable moulds (32mm and 58mm) and a set of 200 plastic badge components. 100 badge components of each size which comprise of a plastic pin back, metal shells, mylar plastic film, blank round paper. Also, included in the box are 2 × round paper cutters to cut out the correct paper inserts,10 × 32mm key ring sets, 10 × 32mm key ring sets, 10× 10 × 32mm key ring sets and 10× 58mm bottle opener and a metal washer which is required for setting the back on the larger badges. You do not to assemble the machine once out of the box – but this is quite a simple process. We did find however it was easier too watch the listing video than to read the instructions. The machine comprises of a frame with a handle and two moulds on a swinging arm not a sliding arm as shown on the listing - we think the one shown in the listing pictures is the 25mm badge maker although the listing title states a 32+58mm machine which is what we received. The two moulds as held in place by magnets. One mould is used to assemble the badge metal film back, the coloured insert and the mylar top, the other mould is to secure the back onto the badge. We found you do need to experiment with the positioning the badge front compared to the badge back – now the short video makes sense! Once you get use the machine it quite a simple process to make a badge. Having used similar machine which were metal we’re not sure this has the resilience if handled roughly but TBF it is 3rd the price of the metal machines. We found replacement 32mm components on Amazon in the KEYSAFER shop but not the 58mm alas – but there were other 58mm badge components on offer.

Très complet et facile d'utilisation. Possibilité de faire des badges de 2 tailles, des décapsuleurs, des portes clés et des magnet. La quantité d'objet à fabriquer dans le kit de base est très satisfaisante.
