Clear Sound, On Android volume level is slightly low.
Well packaged, very nicely built. When used with Android, the sound seems to be slightly low on max settings, but the sound is crystal clear. I would say value for money.

Long term review
Have had it for a number of months and it has not broken on me, seems to be durable despite the reputation some Apple products get for durability, not the cheapest on the market but also of better quality than some I have seen, the wire is soft compared to being rigid which makes it a lot more convenient especially when having the phone in the pocket. Does not seem to affect sound quality at all when in use.

Don’t go for cheap alternatives. This is the real deal
I recently purchased a new iPad to compose music. Because it has no headphone socket and wireless headphones cause a lag when processing sound, I had to use wired headphones. Therefore I needed a USB-C to 3.5 mm headphone adapter. I purchased a cheap adapter that caused unlistenable heavy distortion because the iPad was overloading the chip that converts the digital signal. The Apple adapter at only £1 more is designed to handle the iPad’s power management. It’s worth every penny.
