I created a “cowboy pool” from polyurethane stock tank. It’s great to just float on those hot days. The drain began to leak and it just got worse and worse. Changing the drain was an issue as it was going to take 4 weeks to get replaced and living in the north would have lost most of the remaining season. And I would have had to drain the pool. To get a replacement the shipping cost was $30 for a $7 part. Got this at the local hardware store and had it fixed in 10 minutes. 4 weeks and holding great. Will most likely expand and retract over the winter and leak again. But for $7, I’ll just do it again next summer.

Over paid a couple of pool guys to find a leak on our pool. All they did was seal every crack the found using a similar product. However, they missed a few spots by the stairs. I bought this product to complete the job. It was easy to use; equal parts and squeeze and mix them together until the texture is consistent. Then you’re ready to go. Sealed everything they missed and the material stuck to the existing tile grout and filled the cracks in completely. It hardens fully after a day underwater. Price is reasonable and comparable to the blue ones I bought from Amazon a couple of years ago. But I like this one better as it completely hardens and stays put where you place it.

Working pretty well. Gets hard but if you wipe on it there is some residue that comes off.

I was debating whether to return one of two, since I used one, but decided to keep it for other projects. 1. I was impressed that it had spatula and gloves- very thoughtful! 2. I tried one from HD and was very impressed, so decided to get from Amazon a bigger amount. This putty wouldn't get dry or hard for hours. In my case I used it in the pool and on plumbing. On plumbing- I can't tell bc I put over a vert good one, but inside the pool, wasn't impressed. It wasn't as easy to apply ( i needed a barrier in the skimmer) after 2 days it's still soft and it seems slowly is dissolving as milky chalk... I m hoping it will get solid though. Also I made glives wet, so it doesn't get sticky onto hloves ( made that mistake - dry gloves on HD product and lost almost all on glives) and chalk cilor was dripping, meaning not as strong bonding of material. I guess the time will tell.

This worked well for a couple age cracks on my pool stairs. I simply cut off exact amounts of each package and mixed them together until they became one color (white). The putty was easy to work with, adhered to the cracks, worked under water and was easily smoothed and shaped. No mess and easy clean up. Putty hardened in cracks within 24 hours and was hardly noticeable on white stairs. Sealed the cracks watertight. Exactly what I needed for my repair and at a very low cost,

We discovered a tear on the side of the steps of our inground vinyl pool liner last year and the vinyl patch kit held it for about 10 months. The hole grew larger so we wanted a longer lasting fix. My husband used this pool putty to wedge behind the hole (about 1.5 times the size) and used a piece of Flex Seal tape to cover it until it cured. The next day the putty was rock solid and leak dye showed no water going into the hole. He removed the tape and covered the hole with another piece of vinyl patch so we have twice the protection of any water getting through. Great solution that really worked and saved us thousands on the cost of replacing the liner!

I tried to seal a leak around the wall fitting located under my spa. At first, it looked llike it would work. After few minutes later, I can see the water started to get in. Bottom line, it won't be able to work underwater.
