Total lifesaver for my headless setup. I just plugged it in and it worked immediately—no more resolution headaches or connectivity issues. It’s a simple, set-it-and-forget-it kind of gadget that does exactly what it's supposed to. Super happy with how it handled the display detection.

This is very helpful device that cheaply allows you to use remote viewing software without a "head" to your machine. It's plug and play and compatible with Linux.

Not much to know other than these plug into an HDMI port which is one way many displays connect to a computer. So the computer needs to have an HDMI connector on it or you use another converter or cable to provide the right connector for these plugs. These units remove the need to use a physical display. I use them so I can put the computer out of the way, without a screen (that takes up space) so I can access and use this computer remotely. These are also called display emulators, or ghosts. The only issue one needs to know is to make sure the max resolution that you want the computer to generate matches the max resolution of these units which is included in specs. This affects max resolution you will get on your remote display. However, often the max resolution is higher than I might want when I work remotely which is not a problem. These are nicely packaged and look like they are well made - no problems using for over a year and should last "forever' if you don't use to pop off bottle caps. (grin)

Exactly as advertised. Works great for my headless sunshine/moonlight remote gaming. Was plug and play.

Works amazingly well, buying more as I keep sharing them with colleagues. This is a must for anybody who regularly does Powerpoint presentations from a laptop. This gives you a second "virtual" monitor that you can share over Teams, Zoom calls, etc... It's great for remote calls with a customer, and for those times when you're presenting in a room that uses Teams to screen share to the conference screen. It means you don't need to lug around a second monitor, but can still use presenter mode with all the speaker notes and controls on your laptop, and share the extra screen with just the customer side of the presentation visible.
