Start by peeling little paper off, be 100% sure of placement, then start to place. Pull paper as you go and go slow. I have noticed on my Traeger that I am losing far less smoke from the cover than I was. This is a cheaper priced item than the name brand LAVA something if I remember right. Probably a good idea also for any BBQ. Use that heat you paid for.
