Good kettle though a little noisy and takes awhile (read review before making up your mind)
Excellent kettle, takes a little longer to boil (it stops to keep checking the temperature) but not enough to be problematic. Also a bit noisier than our previous one but again not to much to be a big issue. We did have a slight issue but this was solved very quickly and efficiently by a superb customer service team. Easy to set up in the app and sync with Alexa only a minor issue with dropping WiFi (that could be our router) it doesn’t seem to like multi frequency bands All in all would I have another one…………. Yes!

Many problems
Bought this to upgrade from the silver Weekett kettle that we loved, all works perfectly, we just wanted this more stylish modern looking one, this new one is also 3000w rather than the older silver one at 2200w so it should boil quicker, but no this takes an age to boil, when it gets to the 80’s it then constantly turns on and off before it finally reaches 100c! Ok so that’s the first grievance, I contacted the manufacturers from Amazon, waited ages before I finally got an answer, when I did it was all scrambled and unreadable on my iPhone, no option to open in a browser so no idea what was said, the next grievance is that despite googling about it says you can get a replacement scale filter as it does not come with one but can’t find one that fits to order! Strange your other model does come with scale filter and you can buy replacements, and the last grievance and the most dangerous one is that the spout just pours water out sideways as well as forward, I were sliders indoors but you have to stand back as like I say when pouring it runs down the sides of the kettle splashing boiling water onto your feet! Ok things that do work but not well, for one when kettle is boiled and you have poured most of the water out, say to cook your veg with but then you want to fill the kettle straight back up again the kettle turns straight back on after placing it on the base, no I don’t want to heat without me asking or pressing a button, so that means we can’t leave water in there ready to make a drink when the dinners finished cooking, ok another thing is the power button on the kettle is not very sensitive, so you need to press it hard to work, not only that you have to press it twice to turn the kettle on, just easier to ask Alexa to boil the kettle, rather than tapping it a few times trying to keep it hard enough and hard enough twice! Looks good, nice having the temp displayed on the outside of the kettle all easy to read, one last thing our old silver Weekett kettle was single skinned but kept hot for ages, this double skinned new kettle gets cold very very quickly, wish we hadn’t of got rid of our old 😞

Highly Recommend
Can't say anything bad about this kettle. Connects to Alexa easily. Love being able to pause a movie and boil the kettle just by saying "it's tea time"✌🏻 Did have a minor fading issue with the display after 18 months but weekett customer services dealt with it very quickly and replaced it. They have made a great impression. Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Has issues
Not the greatest of products. Be aware when pouring as too many times water spits out sideways from the spout. You have to go slow. I've definitely had better looking kettles that feel sturdier and look a lot sleeker than this one. The only thing I like about this is it connects to my Alexa. That was a whole other issue connecting..

REVIEW ON NOTH COOL TOUCH & SILVER KETTLE OPTIONS
Ended up purchasing both the silver and black Cool Touch options. So having compared the Cool Touch Kettle with the silver option, I settled on the silver one. There are pro's and con's in both options and its a shame WeeKett don't amalgamate the variants into one kettle, which personally I feel would make for a more improved kettle. Both kettle options are quite heavy when empty compared to my previous kettles and as such feel much heavier when full. Both kettles are quite loud when boiling, compared to my previous kettles. Both kettles instantly connected to the App and then instantly linked to Alexa. Works well, however, despite only having used for a couple of days, both totally disconnected from the App and intern Alexa, so needed to be re-set up. Only time will tell if this is going to be an ongoing problem. Despite description saying you can use any saying to operate via Alexa, I found she wouldn't co-operate with anything other than Alexa Kettle or Alexa boil kettle. Cool Touch Kettle lid gets hot even on the black coated section, so coated totally cool touch. However, in comparison the silver Kettle gets extremely hot on sides and lid and the black section on the lid, so you do need to be aware when refilling immediately after emptying, refilling then closing the lid etc. The black Cool Touch Kettle only has Touch control on the one side, so has a left handed person I found this unsuitable. The silver option isn't affected in the same way. The Cool Touch option is 300 W so is more powerful, energy efficient when compared to the silver kettle. Aesthetically both kettles look very nice. The spout on the black kettle does seem wider compared to the silver Kettle and does have a tendency to spit a wide trail of hot water out, if you try pouring fast. This doesn't seem to be the case with the silver option. The Cool Touch kettle doesn’t have a removable scale filter and the holes in the top of the spout do seem quite large, so I feel scale could get through the holes and into your drink, something another reviewer has actually mentioned. Whilst I’d not heard of the brand WeeKett this appeared to be the only smart kettle that had a visible water gauge on the outside of their kettles. Both options come with a two-year manufacturer guarantee and therefore, personally I can recommend either the silver or Cool Touch option. Ideally I would have preferred a black kettle and 300 W but because of the controls only been on the front, opted to keep the silver Kettle. As I said earlier I’d prefer to see the positive parts of each kettle amalgamated into one, and then just have the option of choosing the kettle in black or silver. I paid full price for this kettle, but having ordered both options thought id give a comparison review as not able to leave a separate review against the silver and Cool Touch options. Overall either option definitely worth buying and being able to speak to your kettle whilst doing other things in the kitchen is brilliant. Turning kettle on from the app so its boiled and waiting ready for you when you get in, or get up again brilliant. As a novelty talking point impressive. Overall great buy.

Testing Three Smart Kettles Side by Side
I bought all three of these smart kettles because I couldn’t find a single review that answered enough of my questions, so I hope this helps someone. I tested each kettle using 1.5 litres of water. All connected easily to their apps and to my Alexa devices. I use Google WiFi and had no issues with any of them, despite many reviews mentioning connectivity problems. DMD Collective Smart Kettle 1.5L – 5 stars This one ended up being my clear favourite. It looks great, is the lightest of the three, and performs really well for a 2200w kettle. Weight with 1.5L: 2.45 kg Boil time: 05:33 minutes, or 04:50 using the quick boil option Pour: Excellent, very smooth even when full Buttons: Fast and reliable Noise: A touch louder than the Swan but still fine to talk next to Lid: Opens and closes smoothly with a good, solid feel A week on, this is the one I’ve kept and I’m very happy with it. Swan Alexa Smart Kettle 1.5L – 4 stars A good kettle overall and it arrived already connected to WiFi and Alexa which was a nice bonus. It sits in the middle for weight, performance, and general feel. Weight with 1.5L: 2.58 kg Boil time: 06:18 minutes, the slowest of the three and the main reason I didn’t keep it Pour: Very good once the first cup has gone through Buttons: Decent, though sometimes needed a firmer press Noise: Quietest of the three Lid: Smooth enough but not as premium feeling as the DMD If it boiled faster, this would have been a strong contender. WeeKett Alexa Smart Kettle 1.7L – 2 stars On paper this looked like the best value with the bigger capacity and 3000w power. Sadly it was the most disappointing to use. The extra weight and straight handle made it awkward for my partner to lift. Weight with 1.5L: 2.66 kg, the heaviest Boil time: 05:04 minutes, the quickest Pour: Poor. The big spout caused splashing and made a mess Buttons: Very unresponsive and often needed repeated presses and completely dry fingers Noise: Very loud. Hard to hold a conversation next to it Lid: Only partly opens with the button and feels flimsy A shame because I expected this one to be the winner, but it was the only kettle I ruled out straight away. All three kettles were around the same price for me, about £46 in the black friday sale. After comparing them side by side, the DMD Collective kettle was easily the best overall experience and the one I decided to keep.

Feature rich kettle with smart integrations available and schedule boiling
Smart & Voice Control - Can be operated via Alexa, Google Assistant, or the Smart Life/WeeKett app. Apple Homekit is possible but need to set-up shortcuts to get things working. Temperature Pre-set - Allows users to select 70°C, 80°C, 90°C, or 100°C for specialty teas, coffees, and baby formula. Keep Warm Mode - Holds your desired water temperature for up to 60 minutes. Safety - Includes boil-dry protection and an auto-shutoff feature. I have found the spout design can lead to messy pouring or tipped too far, slow pour is best. At times hard to see the water level gauges while filling but only a minor point. Strange how it heats the water, gets to 90C and then appears to switch off and on and boils the water till it reaches 100C in 2C increments.

Brilliant.
Absolutely love this kettle. So simple to just tell Alexa to put the kettle on or even just heat it to a certain temperature without having to get up and do it myself. I also like the fact you can choose to heat it to 70-100c, sometimes I want hot water for something but not boiling hot so this is convenient. Just a quick note about the keep warm feature. I couldn't get it to work and then realised after activating the keep warm feature you have to activate the power again for it to keep warm. Otherwise kettle remains off and doesn't keep it warm at the selected temperature. My only complaint is the kettle doesn't come with a limescale filter despite having the bracket for one (see picture) so you'll have to keep on top of limescale removal.

Fuggit, I own it now but wouldn't recommend it.
Ah it's a nuisance..it pauses 4 or 5 times on the way to 100° as if it forgets what 'boiling' is. Steam comes out all around the lid when it's thinking about the 100° mark. Who really needs a 'smart' kettle - its not smart enough to fill itself with water so you're going to have to go over to it anyway..

Not as smart as it should be
Not a very smart kettle at all. Was disappointing to learn there are only four preset temperatures possible, none of which is 95 degrees the most common temperature used for brewing coffee with a variety of methods such as Chemex, V60 or Aeropress. The lid does not open full either which makes filling from a water filter jug more of an ordeal than it needs to be.
