Very nice book well pleased

Bought this for my 14 year old son,a keen reader who enjoys factual books,especially on sport and sport personalities.What a disappointment this book was its nothing more than a photo album with a little paragrah beside each photo ,from start to finish it just took my son 35 minutes to complete.Save your money,go into a book shop and view it ,you could probably read it all in that visit . In my mind a complete waste of money.

Excellent book, brilliant photos every Chelsea fan should have a copy.

Disappointing, full of pictures of his life. This certainly is not a special book from the special one. Patrick Barclay book ten years ago was a much better read. Maybe Mourinho should refrain from writing these books as I recall in May 2005 he signed a new 4 year deal with Chelsea then left in September 2005 by mutual consent. Roll on 2015 new deal signed in August 2015, December Several months later sacked. It is the kiss of death Oh Special One!!!

Since I am a Jose Mourinho fan, I liked the book. I didn't expect it to be an autobiography as he repeatedly said he wasn't going to write one but I remember him talking about publishing a book of photos with his comments a while ago. My only complaint would be that those comments were too laconic to my liking. If you a Mourinho fan, this is definitely a thing for you. If your interest is football wisdom of the greatest, you might end up disappointed.

Pre-ordered the book and was expecting an insight into this talented man. Instead it was a picture book with some brief descriptions. If I'd known it was going to be like this I would never have bought it. If you want to see pictures of him as his career has progressed then buy this book and read it in half an hour or less. If you want an insight into who he is and how he has achieved what he has.... Then don't buy this book.

I enjoyed this book. I 'read', if that is the correct word, the whole book in a leisurely 20 minutes. I say read but the book is mostly a page with an excellent photograph from a scene of Jose's career and life with a short- very short description of the scene and the story behind it. They do say a picture is worth a thousand words but it is consumed a heck of a lot quicker with a simple glance rather than reading 1000 words. There is the rub to borrow another sport's terminology. It is not a biography- ghosted or otherwise it is not a novel it is a set of photographs with written captions by Jose. I can well understand the genuine howls of protest by people who have bought the book expecting it to be a biography and were disappointed. I have sympathy for how they feel cheated- indeed my son who bought the book is among them. But in my case I was able to read the book for free after my son had finished it (in about 10 minutes!) So I am writing this review from the superior position of not having to pay for it and reviewing as I see not what I would have expected. My advice. Simple. Do not pay full price for this book. Loan it from a library or a friend who has it. Heck even read it in the book shop it will not take long to do so. Get it for penny read it and recycle to your local charity shop. An enjoyable book but disappointing.

Probably alright if you are a Chelski fan. Bought as a present before the he got sacked. Should have saved the money.

Jose illustrated his journey from Portugal to all over Europe fairly well with pictures. Would have been good to shed some light on why he left Chelsea the first and second time and why he left Real Madrid.

Was lässt eine Biographie Mourinhos erwarten? Für den normalen Zuschauer wahrscheinlich ein Gift gegen "Schiedsrichter" und den "Spielplan". Und was gibt uns Mourinho? Ein Bilderbuch. Und warum? Weil er Emotionen vermitteln möchte, er möchte sich nicht rechtfertigen. Zum einen hat er dies nicht nötig, zum anderen würde es ihm wahrscheinlich nicht gelingen. Warum also den Leser zwischen den Zeilen lesen lassen, wo er sich doch selbst ein "Bild" machen kann. In meinen Augen eine mutige und großartige Biographie, aber eben nicht das, was man erwartet.

Quien ama la personalidad de José Mourinho, este libro es perfecto. El vendedor realmente hizo un gran trabajo al enviarlo a México, llegó en perfectas condiciones.
