How to Read Buildings: A Crash Course in Architecture

A great book gain an understanding of different architectural styles and break down of building structure.

In the 80s there used to be a series of books "how to bluff your way in...." This is much better, filled full of short bullet points and excellent drawings. Easy reference and urns you into a pro! Great to identify building parts and then if you wish obtain further details once you know what your looking for

Book is well written and beautifully illustrated. Few minor points, the text can be difficult to read, it is a pocketbook but I think could do with being slightly larger. Was hoping to use the book to help date buildings, but not all entries have dates. It is a good book, just not quite what I thought it would be.

Easy to follow and informative. Good size do I can take it with me when out and about
