Palanisamy an uneducated guy is on the look out to marry a teacher and he in due course meets Sukanya. Sukanya agrees to marry palanisamy on the condition that they will remain in her own house after their marriage so that she can take care of her father. Palanisamy agrees to the condition and they both get married. On their first night palanisamy puts forth his own conditions 1. She will have to move with him to his hometown and secondly her father won't be living with them. being a good tamil girl Sukanya agrees. Why did palanisamy go back on his promise to Sukanya? Why did he want to marry a teacher only? what is the reason behind his decision to ask Sukanya to move with him to his home town leaving her father alone to fend for himself?
