L'Oreal Paris Advanced Hairstyle Lock It Bold Control Hairspray 8.25 Ounce

This is my personal favorite. It holds well and has a nice but not overwhelming scent.

My new fav hairspray. Joico and Nexus hairsprays were my 2 favorite & I used for years. I decided to try the L'Oreal hairspray when I came across it on Amazon. I have fine hair but a lot of it,and its very limp & flat. I spray this on my roots after i blow it out. Also use it to hold my curls after I curl my hair.The results are amazing. Better than any texturising or bodybuilding product I ever used. -The hold last 2days! -Strong hold without being stiff or crunchy -I can comb it out & it doesnt flake. -it does not make my hair or scalp feel like i have ton of product in it. It does not spray wet like regular hairspray. It's more of a dry hairspray. Drys super quick. Before this hairspray I used, dry shampoo or texturising powder ( or both) for volume and then hairspray to give it hold. I can't say enough good things about this hairspray. I'm glad I took a chance an ordered this because this product is phenomenal. It replaced three products I normally use & at a fraction of the price. I wish I had this hairspray in the 80s. I highly recommend everyone try this hairspray. It's a great product and different from any hairspray I tried before.

It works really well. A little goes a long way. It makes my hair pretty stiff throughout the day unless I run my hands through my hair and break the bonds. I have two complaints. When I spray the back of my head on the top, my neck gets sticky. So I have to take a hand towel and rub my neck each morning. Secondly, it doesn’t wash out easily. Even in the shower, it takes a long time to wash out and is kind of a pain. My hair doesn’t feel silky smooth like it used to even after shampoo and conditioner. I guess I am just used to using gel my whole life that washes out the second water touches it.

So this thing actually works amazing. But its not all perfect. I have used this product for about 4 months so it has last me a lot. I have fine wavy hair and usually on my morning rush I brush my hair and apply this spray and bum! Volume and curls out of nowhere! But… the smell is strong. I mean it smells like hair spray. Not really bad for you to stink but strong enough for you to smell the chemical on yourself for a while after applying. Odor goes away but never completely. Also It might dry your hair a lil bit, but that its normal when you’re using hairspray on a daily basis like me. Overall, this is a light product that works amazing and holds your hair until you take a shower. It gives a natural clean look. So I recommend it, but I advise you to get an hydrating hair mask if you plan to use it daily and apply some perfume on you before leaving the house.

Love the product, but a few times the nozzle has been messed up and it does not spray clearly. I think this might have to do with how it is being delivered

I bought this in hopes it would be a good replacement for Nexxus Maxximum Hold Finishing spray that I was using and they changed it, so it not only doesn't work like it used to, but is waaay more expensive. This L'Oreal Paris Advanced Lock It Bold Control works great. It works as good or better than the Nexxus. You don't have to use a lot to get it to hold your style in place. Plus it's not super expensive. As long as they don't change it, I will definitely buy it again!
