Accurate Fish Depth Finder with Depth Range of 135 feet, 10+ Hours Battery Life
it has truly changed the way I approach fishing. This compact and innovative device has proven to be an indispensable tool for both seasoned anglers and fishing enthusiasts like myself. First and foremost, the accuracy of the fish depth finder is impressive. With a depth range of up to 135 feet, this fish finder provides real-time and reliable information about the water's depths and the presence of fish beneath the surface. This knowledge has significantly enhanced my fishing experience, helping me identify the most promising spots to cast my line and increase my chances of a successful catch. The wireless connectivity of the Reelsonar Fish Finder is a game-changer. The seamless integration with both iOS and Android apps allows me to monitor the fish finder's readings directly on my smartphone or tablet. This convenience not only keeps me informed about the underwater conditions but also enables me to make informed decisions about adjusting my fishing strategy in real time. The battery life of over 10 hours is a major advantage, especially during long fishing trips. I appreciate that the device can sustain extended usage without worrying about the battery running out. This longevity is a testament to the device's efficiency and reliability in the field. The compact and portable design of the Reelsonar Fish Finder is another noteworthy feature. It's incredibly easy to carry and set up, and the device's durability ensures that it can withstand the rigors of outdoor activities. The accompanying mounting hardware and accessories make it convenient to attach the fish finder to various fishing equipment, including kayaks, boats, or even fishing lines. One aspect that I found particularly valuable is the ability to adjust the sensitivity and settings of the fish finder. This customization allows me to fine-tune the device based on different fishing conditions and target species. Whether I'm fishing in shallow waters or exploring deeper areas, the fish finder's versatility adapts to my needs. The Reelsonar Fish Finder has undoubtedly enhanced my fishing success and enjoyment. However, it's important to note that while the fish finder provides accurate depth and fish location information, interpreting the data and effectively using it to catch fish still requires some fishing skill and knowledge. The device is a tool that complements fishing expertise, rather than replacing it. The Reelsonar Portable Fish Finder is a remarkable and user-friendly tool that has elevated my fishing adventures. Its accurate depth readings, wireless connectivity, and long battery life make it a valuable asset for anyone who loves fishing. Whether you're a seasoned angler seeking to improve your catch rate or a beginner looking to gain an edge, this fish finder is an excellent investment. Embrace the power of technology and take your fishing game to the next level with the Reelsonar Fish Finder – a trusted companion for every fishing expedition.

Great for shore fishing & customer service is exceptional!
Pro: Following the very easy & detailed instructions, this sonar saved time fishing from shore. The mapping is easy to read and locates fish within range down to 13ft (reservoir area in NW PA where I fish). Con: The unit worked great until it wouldn't connect and I found a hairline crack that allowed water to get into the unit. Pro#2- customer service is great. I sent pictures, the receipt and explained the troubleshooting tips (supplied by reel sonar) and they sent me a new bobber under the 1 yr warranty. I honestly thought it wouldn't cover it from a crack in the housing but they did without question! I hope they find a way to make the plastic housing a little more durable ( maybe a couple of millimeters could strengthen it without affecting the sonar reception internally. I definitely recommend the unit & the company for making something that allows me to spend more time fishing than trying to find the fish!!

Pointless.
Just got it yesterday and tested it today. I found 3 major problems. 1. Range is weak. I can cast this thing way beyond the range where it stays connected. It seem to have a maximum reliable range of about 40 feet. If I hold the phone up and have a direct line of sight, I still only get about 40 feet. I cast to about 80 feet and reel halfway back before it connects. I tested it with 2 separate phones. I have a Droid Razor HD and a new Droid Turbo. The Turbo seemed to be a little better when I first tired it, but soon it was only working to about 40 feet just like the Razor. it seems that it was a fluke that I got it to connect 1 time at about 60-70 feet. The battery was fully charged and never dropped below 90% during any of testing. 2. It is always 5.2 feet deep. I tested it in 2 small ponds. The depth would likely be about 8-10 feet in the middle to 6 in at the edge. The ibobber always shows 5.2 feet except for a few times when it showed a hole down to about 7 feet. It was clearly not correct when I reeled it to the edge where it was only 6 inches deep. It may not be guaranteed to be accurate at only 6 inches, but it should show the bottom as it comes up. 3. The App is a battery hog. As soon as I loaded it on my phone it began to waste my battery. I don't know what it is sharing or with whom, but it must be doing a lot of it. Without being turned on, it became my biggest user of the battery until I force stopped it. I just got this and have not gotten a response from Reelsonar yet. We will see how their customer service responds. It may need an update or replacement, but so far I am not impressed. I'll update the review after their response. At this point I would not recommend. I plan to return it if they cannot make it work better than this. *********************** Update. I added 1 star for the prompt customer service response. They got back to me on a sunday night. I suspect it was Monday their time, but it was prompt. The response said that it only works to a minimum of 5 feet, but those ponds should have been deeper than that. Although due to the short range it may have been that they were only 5 feet deep when it started reading. I will try to test in deeper water next weekend to see if it works better. I cannot be sure how deep the ponds where I tested it were deep enough. Keep in mind this does make it not very useful until you get to a lake. Small fish ponds, creeks and rivers may not be deep enough to use this at all. It really is only going to work for bank fishing if the water gets deep fast as you go out from the bank. If I can only get 40 feet of range out of it, that is a narrow band of water where it is less than 40 feet from the bank and more than 5 feet deep. I would like to try it with a boat or Kayak. That would likely solve the problem. The product may need to be marketed differently. I hope to test it this week to know if I got a dud. If it still shows 5.2 feet deep where I know it is deeper, I'll be sending it back. OK I wanted to test it in a deeper lake to find out if it is defective but it failed to hold a charge. I had charged it 1 week earlier and not used it. I took it to a marina where I knew the depth was between 20 and 40 feet to see if it still showed 5.2. Unfortunately it was dead when I tried it so I still don't know if it works. Either way it isn't reliable or usable for what I want.

Easy and compact
I have a little 2 man float boat. Not a lot of space. Ibobber is perfect. Self contained, compact and easy to use.

I have had this 4 weeks now and I can say The iBobber is a great little fish finder that you can take anywhere as it fits in your pocket. It is small in size but don't let that fool you as it holds about 8hrs worth of charge and it will probably outlast your mobile if you have not got a power pack! The iBobber turns itself on and off when it is in the water so saving power which is a nice feature. I do lots of different types of fishing 'bit of an allrounder' - carp, tench, pike, zander, trout, cod and pollock and the iBobber is suited to them all - so long as you have at least 5feet of water to let the sonar work properly you will definitely put more fish on the bank! The depth scale is handy as it shows the depth at which the fish are most comfortable; so you can get a bait or lure down to them. For coarse fishing I use the terrain feature which allows you to map your swim - this is useful for coarse fishing for tench and carp as it shows troughs, bars and likely features a fish is likely to feed from unto 30m from your mobile. The app is easy to instal and has several other features - I like the fish alarm but I feel that could be more useful if I actually used the iBobber as a float -which I don't want to do at the moment as I don't want to lose it! The app also shows the water temperature which has influenced where I fish on the lake - especially for trout on big reservoirs as the cooler the water in the summer the more dissolved oxygen- which they like! The fish finder doesn't just show fish it also shows weed - this can be handy when placing bottom baits for carp as you can find areas where they have been feeding and have reduced the weed down to size. On a recent zander fishing trip to a large reservoir I was able to connect a cord to one of the two anchor points on the iBobber and tow it behind the boat - After motoring around for some time I found fish hanging around the south side off a pumping tower - the fish were tightly grouped around a shoal of smaller bait fish and I could clearly see the depth at which they were feeding 22ft in 25ft of water - so I knew to place my bait within a couple of feet either side of that, which resulted in 3 nice zander - had a great day pleasure fishing and managed to find some other hotspots - so job done!

This is a easy to use little fish finder. I don't cast it, but hang it off the side of my kayak. It works pretty good for the size and price. Perfect for this application, but can't move quickly with it tied to side of kayak as it pulls out of water and will lose connection with phone. But for going along slow, works pretty slick.
