PROS: - I set the unit in a central area of the house between the living room and kitchen so that it can cover multiple areas. On auto setting, it kicked on very quickly to remove polluted air and any smoked from cooking. - After a few months of usage, I've noticed a considerable difference in the overall reduction of dust and my seasonal allergies have been noticeably reduced. CONS: - When the fan kicks on to maximum, the fan noise is noticeable. When operating under low or medium speeds, it's fairly quiet. - Smart app instructions included for troubleshooting were lacking. I couldn't get device to detect & connect to my WiFi. After doing some research on Reddit, I found that changing the router encryption setting from WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK to WPA2-PSK solved the problem. - May encounter issues when trying to sync Google Home with Mi Home app. TIPS: - I recommend buying disposable filter cloths to wrap around the unit's filter. This purifier will tell the air quality level and has multiple fan settings for cleaning the air. It works so well that we have purchased multiple units for us and our adult children’s homes

I have two of these filters – one for home and another for a vacation apartment. The best features include the ability to track the actual air quality (by number) and control multiple devices from your phone anywhere. This is especially helpful when spending time in an area with terrible air quality due to pollution, as it allows you to monitor and maintain healthier living quarters. My only complaint is I believe there is a fan which draws air to the sensor even when the device is off. It has begun to make a buzzing noise while on and off on occasion. The solution would be lubricating it.

Doesn't do as it says it will do. The air purifier always stays green, doesn't matter if you're cooking at home and the room fills with smoke; it remains green with no action being taken. Save yourself some money and buy another brand.
