Works great, don't bother with included adapter
Wish I had installed this ages ago! I used this to auto fill my chicken waterer. No issues. Installing was quick and easy. I ended up getting a 1/2" npt to 3/4" garden hose adapter to attach to it. Maybe that is why I didn't have the leaking issue people seemed to have in other reviews. The included 3/4" to 1/2" adapter is npt and not garden hose thread. Even when using it just to get 3/4โ npt, it is super loose. You would need tons of thread tape and there is nothing to stop it when you screw it down. It just keeps screwing down the elbow beyond the threads. I wouldn't bother with the included adapter. Another review said that it fills very slowly. I did not find that to be the case. It actually startled me when I turned the water on. It sounds like the hose on full blast on the jet setting. Once the water reaches the valve, it shuts off. So far so good, will update this review if needed.

Cheap Chinese Garbage
Absolutely do not buy this piece of Chinese garbage. If you can afford to have a water all over the place event, go ahead and buy it. If you can't, stay away. This is total garbage and it's leaked all over our new kitchen on the second day of was installed.

Flow Rate lower than expected
I installed the valve today, using this in a rain barrel fed by a diverter valve. The valve does work to shut off the water flow from the diverter hose when the water level comes up as advertised. However I feel like the rate of flow when it is not blocking incoming water is rather low. It will likely take more time to fill this 50 gallon barrel than without it. Also, the threaded stainless steel adapter was needed to attach it to the bulkhead connector inside the barrel, but with a LOT of thread tape. I will look for another model that has a higher flow capacity, but this one will do the job for now. Now I just need a "window" that I can install on the barrel top to see into it, as this barrel had a mesh screen in the top to let water in from a source, and I need to block that off but still see inside.
