I wanted some plain old slippery elm powder for gut support and this fits the bill. There are 349 servings in the container with a scoop for measuring. I'm adding this to my daily smoothie and there's no discernible flavor but it does somewhat neutralize a bit of the taste of my smoothie. It also makes it a little more thick and more of a gel consistency. It's a different experience but no so bad that I can't take this everyday.

This item does not gel up like it’s supposed to. It has a terrible bitter flavor and I would’ve returned it if I could I had to purchase another product because it was so terrible and unusable. It is made to help your stomach and instead it feels like it made it worse. I have used slippery elm in the past and this is not an equivalent product. I gave it one star because I had to give something, but I would give it zero stars if I could

This organic slippery elm bark powder is hands down the best out there. So far this is the genuine slippery elm powder I can find that made from the inner bark of the slippery tree. When I mix this slippery elm powder in to a glass water and mix it. It becomes gel like consistency, which is a great sign that this slippery elm powder is made only from inner bark. I take a spoonful of this slippery elm powder and add it to my favourite fruit smoothies and sometime I add sweetener to make it taste better and thinner. I also add it to my tea sometimes. Adding this to your beverages does not change the taste. I have been taking this for few days and I'm happy with it , will keep buying it. I would recommend to anyone looking for good quality organic slippery elm powder.
