I am returning the item since I think its too soon for my 3.5 year old to play with this, BUT, my wife and I were WOWed by this toy. We both spent like 30 mins playing with it and enjoyed it. I can totally imagine a 6+ year old kid spending hours with this and having fun. Good built, great quality and fun. Manual and instructions are a bit lacking but you can figure it out quite fast. Operating it is easy as well once you figure it out and kids can use it easily as well once you explain it to them. I would totally buy this if we are invited to a birth day party of an older kid or once my daughter is a bit older.

This microscope is so much better than I thought it would be. You can see so much detail and I love that I have control focusing the image. It is light weight, a great size and I use it all the time. I highly recommend this microscope for anyone needing to see things super close up.

Great gift for children who have interests in basic microscopy or science. This product has a decent build and came in a protective case. Good for bugs, coins, fabrics. This is a digital zoom device meaning that the appearing image is not the result of an objective lens, rather a camera instead. However, being that there is a built in camera, it is easy to use. Comes with SD card to store pictures and videos. Image quality is fair, good enough for simple exploring and fun.

Bought for my 12yo son for his (12th) birthday. He absolutely loves it! The magnification & focus is crazy good for the price. It’s the perfect size - portable and easy to hold. Easy to use. We live in the Deep South, and we have even used this in a tick situation to verify that the entire tick was removed from skin…. The magnifier is that good! My son has so much fun looking at anything and everything he can.

This was a great gift for a 3 year old. His parents loved it to. They were looking for things to look at right away.

I looked at lots of microscope options for my 9 year old grandson before selecting this one. It’s portable so he can study nature close up, is easy to operate and has the big advantage of being able to take both pictures and videos to upload. I think it is good value for a mid level microscope

Super cool, my son loves it. We look at things all the time. Easy to use and the picture are great Reminders of what we have seen and he takes it to school to show his friends. Some even bought one so now it's like shoe and tell lol.
