dogs loved it but too expensive for 2 dogs

I may have made a mistake getting these...my dog is obssessed! I shared a can with a friend who owns the sister and she went crazy for it as well! The smell is pretty fishy, but its bearable. Since I use it as topper, I get a good amount for what I pay for. Its easy to open the can and seems to be good quality. No upset tummies yet and bith are sensitive!

I was looking for another wet dog food to replace the one my dog loved but they no longer make it. He’s allergic to beef and chicken so we’ve tried lots of fish options! The little tins are cute, stack nicely in the pantry and I can make one tin into 2 meals if I mix it with crunchy food. My pup loves it, devours it! Yes it smells like fish but it doesn’t stink up the kitchen like cooking fresh fish does. His coat is soft and the oils in the food are helping his itchy skin. Honestly the tins are a little more expensive than regular dog food BUT I like the health benefits of this over some of the other brands I’ve tried. We’re definitely getting more of this!

I’m sure this is a great topper but my dog eats a home cooked diet. I bought it to make treats because I wanted something without all of the extra ingredients in commercial treats. My prickly little eater would eat the treats if she was around other dogs eating them. I made so many that I was afraid they would go rancid since salmon is an oily fish. I wound up giving the treats to a few neighbours for their dogs and was told their dogs loved them. I also gave them a can of the topper as well and all the dogs absolutely loved it too. I wish you could buy a few cans instead of 12 at a time.

My Yorkies have long, hairy beards. And they also love fish. Typically this is a VERY bad combination, since most wet dog foods are a sloppy, wet, and greasy mess, and my dogs end up wearing their smelly, fishy breakfast in their hair 24/7. But this Open Farm meal topper boasts a "silky mouse" consistency instead--it's light and airy, with just the perfect amount of moisture. My dogs DEVOUR the char flavor, and I love that there's a little less mess on their faces. An open tin smells mildly fishy but oh-so fresh, and the limited ingredients have caused ZERO tummy upset for my very sensitive dog. Thanks Open Farm!

I received this and one of the cans was exploded and five others were dented. I threw them away. The outside box was opened at one end. This looked like it was overheated. I will not order again.

My boys love this stuff have it come monthly and my 3 boys go crazy for it. All of my boys coats look and feel great and shiny. They are losing and maintaining weight. Love this open product and will continue using it.

It is too dry and flaky. My dog was interested but did not pursue this food.
