My holy grail!
This stuff is incredible. Absolutely amazing. I have had psoriasis my entire life. My ENTIRE life. I went through -middle school- with psoriasis on my FACE. Stress is my trigger. UV helps some, but not enough to get a prescription. This stuff is strong and works incredible. I just can't get over it. I put it on once a week at MOST, when I know I can be in shorts all day long (it's the worst on my legs). I let it sit all day and do my best to not rub it off. I use a (3d printed) makeup spatula to apply it. The next few days are some pain for sure. But after that... HEALING. My legs haven't looked this good in literally over a decade. I used to try to dig holes to China through my shins. I've gone through less than a dozen applications and it's just amazing the difference. Don't get me wrong. I hate ointment. It sits on you all day and is greasy and gross. I feel like I'm wiping it on all my couches and stuff. It smells terrible (but doesn't seem to have a far reach). I don't know how to apply it for inverse areas. I've started using a qtip for my hairline and at my part. But honestly... It's worth it. For the healing I've experienced (and I've done everything except biologics), this stuff is worth it. It's worth the smell, the grease, the awkwardness, the "I'm too cold because I'm in shorts and its winter". I've recommended it to other people. I'm blown away by how well its worked. I'm so grateful this stuff is out here and affordable and OTC and just everything. I'd hug it if it didn't smell so bad hahaha

Very helpful product.
I have psoriasis. It’s in a minor stage. Spots on my arms, legs and hands. I started using this and it’s already showing signs of going away. After just 3 uses I noticed this.

Yes. Just yes!
I bought this for severe eczema on one foot that I've been battling for almost a year. I tried literally everything else so why not? I wish I'd bought it first thing. The insane itch goes away almost immediately. After two days, the redness calmed down, forth day in, no new itchy patches and all prior rashy areas were fading even more. Just keep using it at least twice a day especially right when you get out of the shower. Yes, it stinks like mothballs and.... But if you know, you know. To get rid of that deep itch and insanity, really are ya gonna let the smell stop you? Also I used this alone, I stopped using anything else so I knew exactly if it was this product or not. Because nothing else worked for long anyway. I put it on again right before bedtime with a fresh pair of cotton socks. And finally I can sleep through the night. Worth every penny.

Great product but wish it came in a bigger size
Works well for settling and calming psoriasis outbreaks helped clear up my skin with in about a 2 to 3 weeks of constant use. Note you dont need much of this product on your skin just little dabbs for areas that are red and bumpy twice a day Will not lie I wish the container was bigger so it would last longer then a week, admittedly I would be willing to pay 18 to 20 dollars for a 10oz jar vs 4oz. But very good and helpful product for those dealing with psoriasis like myself. Warning for those new to coal tar you will smell like a mechanic when putting this on.

It works
This is a great product. Yes, it doesn’t smell real good but that dissipates in a short time. The US decided not to make coal tar products. This same type of salve worked for my father in 1997. When I was younger I would get one little spot. My mother would immediately put on this black salve and poof it was gone. I am 72 years old now and have spent thousands of dollars to help with all the psoriasis issues. None of them worked. I decided to try this. And in a day it was quite an improvement. My husband can’t believe. There’s more to this story but this works. It is definitely worth a try.

This product literally stinks.
The smell of this product is so strong and pungent. It’s a nauseating smell that doesn’t fade. I do not recommend.

Complete and absolute NO from me
I don't know what exactly to give this because it didn't just not work for me, it made my psoriasis worse. It came dermatology approved. Yeah, no. My psoriasis itched worse after the fact than without it. I ended up throwing it away without even 1/4 of the jar being used. This stuff has SO many ingredients in it. Coal tar alone has over 100. The dermatologist gave me anti-itch cream that, by itself, worked wonderfully at controlling the itch for several days at a time. This stuff made it all itch despite using the anti-itch cream (betamethsone dipropionate cream USP -augmented- .05%) every single day until I killed it. It took almost a week for my skin (shins and calves) to calm down. Both of my shines used to match. Used to! My left foot was broken for me by a coworker and the cast was more tightly applied at the bottom than at the top. I could get my whole hand snugly down inside the top of the cast that came to my knee. I wore it for almost 5 months. I was paranoid that it was going to itch me to death, but it never did at all. When the cast was removed, the psoriasis on my left shin and calf were completely gone. It's taken 5 years for it to even begin to return and it's not even 1/4 the way there. So I'm going to get a cast kit and run that same exact thing on my right leg. The Unna Boot the dermatologist said for me to get and try is going to bankrupt me when the cast is cheaper. But this never ever worked as described.
