When Apple changed from using its Lightening cables for charging and data transfer, to USB 3, users were left with a collection of old cables they couldn’t use. While the old Lightening cables couldn’t handle the data transfer speeds of USB 3, they were just fine for charging your new iPhone. These adapters made it possible to do just that. When we got our new iPhone 15’s we had a ton of older cords, so I bought these so we could still use our older cords. They work really well. But when they are over used I have noticed they come apart really easy. That is the only downside.

So going from a iPhone SE to a Verizon special for a new iPhone 17 plus carbon ultra max plus titanium silver gold phone was quite an upgrade. I still don't know half the functions on this new phone but what I do know is I wasn't about to upgrade all my lighting cables I have set up in my car, RV, boat, mountain cabin, fallout shelter, just because the nerds at Apple decide to change the charging cable to a USB-C! So looking around found this GEM! Don't throw away your old charging cables! Just upgrade with these simple devices and you will be GOOD TO GO! Don't forget to use the rubber tether to keep the adapter close by when you need it. AMAZING PRODUCT! WOULD RECOMMEND TO A FRIEND OR AN ENEMY!

These work as intended i guess. Certainly allows us to continue using our pile of older charging cords. However, they do not work if you are trying to use wired ear buds or RCA jack adapters. Nothing meant for sound. Not sure why, they just don't. Connection is tight and does not wiggle or fall out.

Got to love Apple as they are constantly changing just enough to drive you crazy and make you feel like you need to buy all new items for your new product. This connected to the chargers I had for my old device and made upgrading less frustrating. Products still work as they did before and the quality hasn’t been affected. I highly recommend trying this before going out and spending a lot of money on new equipment.

These adapters are great! Since iphone keeps changing the chargers, these adapters can be used with your older model charging cords. The adapters will save you money, you can leave them on and use the adapter or unplug and use the same cord for another device.

Really not good for anything except adapting an older style charger to the new USB-C phones. The description was up front about not working for some attachments so I can't fault them for this.
