Nice and sturdy
These fit the screens on my marvin windows perfectly. I had some plastic ones and they had trouble holding. These clipped on and held tight. The aluminum shafts seem like a better material as all the plastic ones are dried out and breaking. I will buy them again to do more screens.

Screen problems resolved!
I just received a 50-pack of these Screen Plunger Latches with Caps to replace the originals on all my Marvin window screens, and I couldn’t be happier.Installation was fast and easy. No tools needed. The quality of these latches is significantly better than the ones that originally came with the screens. 90% of the part is metal instead of plastic. In my opinion it is easily ten times better.Highly recommended if you’re looking to refresh your screens. They now look and function like new!

Great Replacements
Great replacements for the cheesy little plastic thingies that break when exposed to the sun. I may pro-actively replace the ones that didn't break (yet).

Plungers
They work and the dimensions are accurate. The plastic pull handles were difficult to snap on the plunger. I had to use slip joint pliers. No way you could attach them by hand.

Work great
I’m glad these come in an 8-pack. I only needed one. I had to cut the first three out due to improper install/user error. Once I figured it out they work perfectly. Word to the wise, put spring on pin, insert pin from the outside edge of screen (small end goes in), snap plastic cap on the inside edge. Once it snaps, it doesn’t come off. So simple yet so frustrating initially. Good product though.

The spring is too large
The spring is too large in diameter. It has a diameter of 0.165” and the larger shaft diameter is 0.156. The issue is the drill bit to use is 5/32 which make a 0.159 hole. The spring should NOT be larger than 0.156. WYou can get the spring in with a little finesse by twisting the spring and using a tiny screwdriver to press it the rest of the way. I wouldn’t buy it again and I would send them back but I only have 12 pins to put in my 3 new screens. I will say to fix this issue, you could use a 3/16 (which is the next drill bit size up) but it will be a little sloppy in the hole and will work fine.FYI, the smaller diameter of the pin is 0.120” and a 1/8” drill bit works great for the inside walls of the screen frame.

Absolutely amazing product. My screen window was off for years. This was the perfect fix.
