Handle with care!
I generally use Raymond Murphy's excellent grammar book English Grammar in Use with Answers: A Self-Study Reference and Practice Book for Intermediate Students of English but was looking for something to supplement it. I bought this book because it appealed to me that it was aimed at a lower level (A2-B1) and some of the points it covers are excellent for this. However the biggest criticism I have is that some of the units are far from clear. 'Rules' are given but then in the exercises exceptions to the rule pop up with no corresponding explanation which causes real confusion amongst students. As I say, I have found it useful for some teaching points, but it needs to be handled with care. There are other better grammar books available.

Good grammar book
The book arrived in time, 1 week after receiving the dispatch email. It's a good comprehensive grammar book but I feel there should be more exercises to practise, 1 page per notion is not enough.

It is very useful because it explains the grammar rules simply, clearly and in details however concise. All the examples are related to business situations so I got a chance to enhance my voc in addition to the grammar.

Ich habe das Buch in meinem Business English Kurs benutzt und bin hellauf begeistert. Über insgesamt 72 Units verteilt sind die wichtigsten grammatischen Themen abgedeckt. Jede Unit ist dabei gleich aufgebaut: eine Seite mit Erklärungen (gegliedert in Examples, Form und Uses) und eine Seite mit Übungen, die wirklich sehr praktisch und lebensnah gehalten sind. Das gute ist, dass sich hier an neueste Curricula mit Fokus auf Task-Based Learning gehalten wurde, sodass es sich NICHT um 10 zusammenhangslose Sätze handelt, in die das vorgegebene Verb in passender Form eingesetzt werden muss. Das Buch richtet sich dabei wohl eher an ältere Lernende, ich könnte mir aber auch vorstellen, das Buch in einer Wirtschaftsklasse am Gymnasium oser der BBS zu verwenden. Ich gebe absolute Kaufempfehlung.

très bon livre pour travailler seul. Permet de revoir les règles de grammaire. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas assez d'exercices.
