At first I thought the ‘roses’ were slightly more purple in tone than the picture, but on comparison it’s identical. In any case it’s very attractive & will be a pleasure to use. It seems to be very well made, &, for me the main selling point, the cushion part is generous in size , & firm but flexible; which means that unlike my old one it sits nice & square on the lap, so no more spills.

It's nearly two years since I bought this for a person who is bed bound and who has used this lap tray three times a day for meals and as a comfortable surface to lean on for writing, lay newspapers on and myriad other uses. It's really thoughtfully designed and beautifully constructed; its rounded edges are comfortable for the arms to rest on but cups and plates etc can't slide off. The pattern is tasteful both on the smooth tray surface and the fabric cushioning. My friend says it's the best they've ever had. I love the provenance of it which makes it very special indeed. It's still in absolutely perfect condition and the cushioning is perfect too. A pleasure for my friend to use and for me to have purchased.

Great laptray. Very good quality compared to some that are available. Use it mostly to put my dinner on but also useful for putting my laptop computer on. Great!

The surface is not as strong as I would have liked

Really pleased with this lap tray purchased for an elderly parent. Cushion underneath is well filled so the tray can be easily adjusted. Very pretty pattern and cushion material is not slippy so helps it stay in place. Purchased this after returning a cheaper & inferior version and as the saying goes ‘you get what you pay for’ and this is really good quality and worth paying that bit extra.

I use this as a classic lap tray for my plate when not eating at the table but I sometimes give it to my mum, who is bedbound, to hold her mirror while she styles her hair. If she were into jigsaws it'd be great for a small one. Obviously also good for a laptop. This one is v practical ie easy to clean, is pretty and has put up with a fair bit of abuse from me so I'd highly recommend!

Personally, I like the design of this lap tray and the fact that the bottom part matches the top part. Comparing with my old lap top, it’s smaller in size but this hasn’t been too much of a problem and it feels sturdy. I use it for resting a reading book on and for writing and for these uses it’s good.

Was a bit on the pricier side, but there's so much more filling in this one than cheaper ones you find in stores and online! I also like the companies ethics employing people who may get turned down at other places due to having disabilities. I'd pay more for a company like this!! and also the product is amazing anyway! This is a moment where I am proud to be British and I never say that!!

De style et de fabrication anglaise, j’apprécie les couleurs et la manufacture de ce très joli plateau. Il est rembourré généreusement et tiens bien sûr les genoux. Je m’en sers aussi bien comme plateau repas que pour les loisirs. Je recommande cet achat qui est d’un très bon rapport qualité prix.
