I got these for a standing seam job and a steep roof. 10/10 the retractablity is great and a solid piece of safety equipment

We really like how it works.

Complaint from my roofers is tension is too high, pulls too hard all the time compared with others. They don't like it. Well written instructions, not a lame hack translation. Instructions have a general note about shock absorbing lanyards being part of all safety devices. If it's integral then they should clearly state such. Says "max fall distance 3' 6" on the device but makes me wonder...

We used this self retracting reel while trimming branches from a big tree near our house, and although no one actually fell it was great piece of mind knowing it was there just incase. This thing is pretty heavy, but that's exactly what a quality piece of equipment should be like.

This thing is awesome! It's made of high quality materials and has definitely gained my trust. It's certainly not some flimsy toy or poorly made contraption.

This is a high quality, ANSI rated fall arrest line. The line and retraction device are well built. As with any fall protection equipment, make certain a competent person reviews the entire system. The retraction device comes with an excellent manual that includes a section for recording inspections. I recommend this device!
