Requiem: Vocal Score

I recently purchased this score for a choral concert in which I was a participant. Others in the chorus were using different scores, yet I could find my place easily enough. The paper quality of this product is excellent and easily read. It contained no mistakes. I am glad I purchased it instead of using some available older scores provided to the singers.

Vocal score is as promised.

Marvelous work. Have sung it a number of times and find this edition easy to work with.

I was expecting a SATB score. What arrived was a SSA score. Mildly disappointed.

Some reviewers have said that this comes with a plain cover and not great paper. Mine arrived with a red printed cover as advertised.The paper, while not the highest professional paper, does have a slightly glossy sheen and is perfectly suitable for the job.The quality of the printing is good.My only negative criticism would be that the cover is only attached to the 2 staples that go through all the pages. The cover soon became detached so I had to use tape to secure it back. Not a great issue, considering the price.Overall, a good purchase.

The description of this score is very misleading, as, indeed, another reviewer pointed out. It is actually a full score for both soloists and choir. I am really delighted with it, especially as it didn't cost an arm and a leg! It is a really nice score and, what is more, it is not heavy, which is a definite plus for us singers! This was excellent value, and I recommend it to any singer looking for this particular music.

I was a bit disappointed to find that the cover of the score I received was a simple white one,, like the internal cover without the more robust outer printed one as shown on the photo.Since it is the correct music (checked against another copy) I decided to keep it.

The item arrived promptly. However the publication itself contained some errors in text and notes compared to other editions used by my colleagues. There are no bar numbers in this score and the letters did not correspond with other editions. If I sing this piece again I will need to buy a new score.

Item was delivered promptly, well within timescale indicated. Packaging was appropriately robust to ensure the paperback arrived in pristine condition. The music is sublime and the vocal score meets all my expectations.
