Worked really well as a replacement for the one that broke. Not difficult to fit yourself either.

Not a genuine Hoover product
This is not a genuine Hoover part and is not sent by Hoover despite it saying "by Hoover". It is a plastic copy. I am sure it will do the job but don't pay extra for it thinking it is from Hoover.

As the other reviewer said, it's a handle. My washing machine is no longer holding my towels hostage on a regular basis.Had to use a piece of string and some ingenuity to get the door unlatched in the first place, but fitting it was easy enough. Just take note of where all the parts go when you remove the old one and you should be fine. If you don't pay attention when disassembling it you will end up with a pile of assorted bits that look like they couldn't have possibly ever gone together in the first place.

Good product and service but it broke
Ordered a replacement door handle for our Hoover washing machine - perfect product, excellent service and great price. Fitted it perfectly but it broke within 2 months.
