Pretty perfect except occasional straw leak
My 11 month old daughter loves these cups, this is the only one I can really get her to drink from. The straws can be a bit of a pain to clean, but if you use a pipe cleaner brush it’s not that bad. They are easy to assemble and besides the straw holding fluid and leaking they are pretty much leak proof. They can also handle abuse, my daughter loves chunking them off her high chair tray.

The ONLY cup my daughter will use!
I’ve tried ALL the sippy cups, starting when my daughter turned six months old. She just had her first birthday, and I’m so, so happy I came across this cup on a new parents website! It’s not the most leak proof cup I’ve come across, and cleaning milk out of it gives me anxiety,(it comes with this flimsy straw cleaning thing that stresses me out, but ultimately gets the job done) but it’s THE ONLY cup my daughter will drink out of, and she began using it the second I handed it to her! I was floored! All the leakproof, easily cleanable cups in the world aren’t worth squat if your kid won’t use them! Buying more right now, as we’re officially off bottles!

Easy to use, hard to clean.
My 9 month old has zero interest in taking a bottle or a sippy cup, so we jumped to these straw cups. She caught onto the idea of how to drink very quickly. One way to encourage your baby to drink from a straw is to get a regular straw, dip it in milk or formula, place your finger over the top of the straw and put the end of the straw in her mouth so she gets used to the idea of food coming out of the straw. Anyway, these cups are great because no matter which way she tilts it, she can drink every drop. When she shakes the cup it DOES leak, but with the lid closed it’s fine. They are a pain in the butt to clean, but overall I’m happy with the product.

Great Product
Pros:-love the weighted straw that allows drinking from any angle! Genius!-love that it has a back and forth lid to cover the straw and keep it clean and can’t be misplaced or thrown-very well made. Great materials, durable, doesn’t leak-comes with cleaning brush to clean the straw. Essential!Con: (just one)-taking it apart, cleaning all the parts including inside the straw properly, then reassembling is a bit time consuming so just know that’s what you’ve committed to when purchasing this. Straws can’t simply be thrown in the dishwasher to clean and you can not lose the straw cleaner they provide.Overall I’d give this a 9 out of 10

Take the good with the bad!
I love these cups. We moved from a bottle straight to these and we still use them at almost 2. The only issue I have is sometimes the to isn’t on all the way. You have to make sure it clicks. And the straw has a little piece in the top that has to be pushed up otherwise the cup leaks! Besides that, because the straw is skinny it has to be cleaned with a little brush but it isn’t too bad. I wouldn’t drink milk in this cup for sanity purposes. But I LOVE it because of the weighted straw. Such a game changer.

Loved these but really hate them
Oh these cups. I’ve loved them for so long, yet have had so many complaints about them too. They were so easily for my daughter to use from 6 months on. I loved the weight to help her out. Loved the handles, the lid. Alas, I am done with them. They constantly leak. Constantly. Temperature change, move it a certain way, whatever - the liquid is coming out the top of the straw and puddling everywhere. The most concerning thing about these cups is the straw though. They very easily get tears in them, which could result in chunks of straw breaking off in Children’s mouths. Quite alarming. I have thrown away SO MANY straws, bought a brand new cup — JUST to use the straw (seriously the cups are in a cabinet and have never been used). It seems these straws are my main issue with this cup.unchain really needs to look at this straw design because I know so many others who have had the same issue. At the very least, Munchkin should sell replacement straws on its own Instead of having to buy a whole brand new cup. Also, they are quite wide and don’t fit into the diaper bag well.

Best toddler straw cup!
We love many of Munchkin products. You have to be a bit meticulous as you put on the lid, but we have not had any leaking issues when the lid was on correctly. We love that the flip lid is removable. That was on of the problems with a different cup we tried. It was a game, a very obnoxious game. Taking off the flip lid solved that problem. I put it back on if we need to take it anywhere. This cup is probably the most annoying in the cleaning department, but it's what works for us, so we are glad to have it! Great weighted straw cup!

Was skeptical but...
I was skeptcal of this cup. I liked the idea of the weighted straw so it's always at the bottom but, to my amazement, it actually works - except at extreme angles! This isn't the easiest to clean sippy cup (though the ones I grew up with were worse) but my daughter loves it. Plus, unlike some others, these are not perfectly round so we can open them even with food all over them. It will leak a few drops if dropped on the floor but that's really just what's in the top of the straw so I'm not docking stars for that. They're also hourglass-shaped so a drink strap stays nicely attached.
