Who doesn’t like a clicky multi-color pen?? Four colors, all write smoothly. Click mechanism works well. Bought a box of 12 so I can share with my extended family, all of whom love clicky colorful pens!

These pens have a nice highly pigmented ink that is comparable to gel ink pens. I am very pleased with the ease of writing. I am glad that the pen doesn't leave blobs of ink as I write. The colors of the pen are true: deep red, true green, dark blue and deep black. I am very pleased with the quality of these ink pens.

So BIC, you got me this time. Well earned considering I’m always looking for the deal and searching for the only pen I ever write with. Yes, I only write with four color medium point pens. Just like any dude that wears an outfit, we are limited and what we can change out for variation, I’m grateful that Big has been creative and finding ergonomic solutions for the finger, pallets For the pen itself and also for the actual ink coming out. When I saw this product with its extra smooth writing capability, I got way too excited and purchased a box of 12. I’ve been trusted this product for so many years now that I didn’t even second-guess and taking some of the pens out and sharing them with my coworkers. After doing this, I finally took one for myself and Thankfully wrote and kept writing because it was such a pleasant feeling to have whatever this gel like ink, but still looks like a pen glide out ever so smoothly. If you’re looking to add your collection or physic the first Bic Pen you’ve ever written with, you won’t be disappointed. The pen delivers, the design looks really sexy, and I will not be buying another box or another pen until the price goes down. I really should look into therapy. Some pens are fine, but other pens have the blue and the black switched. When you select the blue you get black ink or when you select the black, you get blue ink. Another pen has no blue, but two black. Missed the return window by one day!

While not the best at winning wars, the French sure know how to make a good pen! MADE IN FRANCE! 🇫🇷 This item is amazing! I would definitely buy it again. The shipping went smoothly and in a timely manner. The item was packaged very securely. The item was just as described in supreme quality. Also, I think the price was fair and competitive to similar items on Amazon.

I've been using BIC four-colored pens for 30 years. They have noticeably declined in quality over the years. And having lived and bought them in France, the French versions were, at least some time ago, better than the American version, not only in consistency of ink flow, but the stylus on the French version is sharper. I use these on texts that I'm teaching (university professor) and sometimes I underline a passage in three colors. These gel versions are pretty bad for that. The ink flow is very irregular, and I end up with globs of ink on the page which turns into a smudge when I touch the page or close the book. They've proved useless for the purpose that I bought them for, and now I'm trying to repurpose them.

Love the multi color feature. They do leak ink though. Like even very cheap pens don’t leak ink like these do. Maybe it’s part of their “smooth writing” feature or something but sometimes it puts out a ton of ink and like smears or gets on your hands. Kind of messy. Still would get again though

First off, it's really convenient having pens that can switch colors on the fly, they're great for notetaking (I tend to use a different color to emphasize the importance of a note, or the type of note). I'm not a teacher, but I think this type of pen would be extra handy to have for grading papers. The pens are perfectly comfortable to write with and the colors stay locked in place. I haven't had any trouble with the pens spontaneously unlocking (I even tried to push down super hard and it still manages to stay locked). The pens are advertised smooth like a gel pen ("like" being the key word), which may be misleading at first glance (some people may see the word gel and assume these pens are gel, which as far as I can tell, they're not). How well do the pens actually write? Well, I really think it depends on which color you're asking about. Through my testing, I've found that each color has it's own consistent performance, for whatever reason. -I've found that the black ink writes the smoothest/most consistent. There has been very minimal rough or scratchy patches with the black ink. I haven't experienced any bleeding with the black ink. The black ink definitely performs better than other standard, non-gel, ball point ink pens I have used in the past. -The next best ink is the blue. It writes almost as smooth/consistent as the black, but I do experience some rough and scratchy patches (not enough to be annoying, it happens every once in a while). As with the black ink, I haven't experienced any bleeding with the blue ink. The blue is almost on par with the black, it writes very well. -The red ink is the next best. With the red ink, I've experienced about the same amount of rough and scratchy patches as the blue ink. I have experienced some bleeding with the red ink (still, not really enough to be annoying. It still writes really good) -Lastly, we're left with the green ink. From my testing, there's a pretty big drop-off between the green ink and the red ink. The green ink writes way more rough and scratchy than the red ink, which leads to inconsistent lettering. There's also way more bleeding when writing with the green ink. I can even somewhat feel the inconsistent ink flow of the green ink (I've tested most of the pens as well). Don't get me wrong, you can still write legibly with the green, but it does hiccup a lot more than the other colors. Time will tell on how long the ink within each pen will last, but regardless, it's going to be a good long while until I need to order more, considering I got 12 pens (well really 48 when adding up all of the colors) in the pack. Overall I give them 4/5 stars. They are super handy for taking notes, but the quality of the green ink brings it down a notch. Would I order them again? Yes, if I needed some ink pens for taking notes. If I needed some pens for artistic endeavors, I would look elsewhere and try to find some high quality gel pens.

Does not write as smooth as advertised. It leaves blotches and ink dots so it stains your hands when writing and smudges easily. I don’t like that especially for legal documents.
