How many kids can use this at once, if they were all making the same letter at the same time?

I bought 2 buckets thinking I would be able to use it in my kindergarten class. I was only able to have 8 children at a time making letters. There at not enough of the orange pieces (lines or curves) and not enough small blue curves but out of 2 buckets I have one whole bucket full of the long blue lines and that was after I gave 20 children 4 each! This was such a disappointment, it would have worked for a class if they had more of certain ones and way less of the blue lines.

I just bought these and they good. I'm wondering how to make the letter h though? Do you use a straight and an upside-down u shape? Looks funny.

What are the approximate sizes of the magnets?

Very small. The longest big line is about 2 inches long. and the big curve is that tall as well. They are a nice size to use with an 8 x 10 magnetic white board.
