Thankfully, there's nothing remarkable to write about. The battery holder works as advertised and was easy to mount on a Raspberry Pi.

got this for an RPi-5 which has an RTC. Works, but there's no way to attach this to any part or to any case - you'll have to add your own adhesive tape, wasn't any with mine and there's no screw holes.

Just perfect for my Raspberry Pi 5's!

Works as expected. My only gripe is that it is really cheap plastic. If you flex it too much, it might break easily. It also does not really fit together 100% how it ought, but it is close enough to work.

This item is very handy for keeping your RP 5 clock running and system up to date.

Having used every model of the Pi since the original, it's great to finally have one with a real-time clock on board, and this simple device unlocks the true potential of this feature. Set it and forget it!

You might think, why would I need an RTC battery for my Pi, but if you are like me and rely on logs, that would need necessitate the need, especially in applications wherein you have spotty power. Once i installed the battery, it was immediately recognized and I can now reliably depend on my pi’s logs to provide accurate timestamps even when it loses power.

Good product (remember the 2032 battery is not included!) Connector fits nicely on the Pi and the wire (although flimsy) is quite long and so allows for mounting the battery holder almost anywhere inside your case (use double-sided tape; not included though). Might be nice to add a mark to indicate which switch position is 'on'. On the Raspberry Pi, use the command "vcgencmd pmic_read_adc BATT_V" (without quotes) to see which switch position provides power to the Pi's RTC circuit.
