This product is absolutely wonderful for keeping the pollen and other 2.5 particles out of the eyes. I've used this rinse for years and it is so helpful. Once it cleans the eye there's no more itch. No way do you have to add some kind of chemical solution to clean out your eyes when you have this! Great product! Since the price is back down again it's a great value. I use it every single day!

My ophthalmologist was the one who suggested that I have these on hand at home. I have to say this is come in handy. It’s great for rinsing pollen out of your eyes, when you wake up with itchy eyes. It’s also great for the small particles when the air quality is bad. We each have our own at home, but you could probably put it in a purse or bag if needed. Check the oz if traveling.

Excellent product had a great price value for your dollar

I found this product and started using it regularly several years ago. One significant reason for my original choice was the fact that it did not contain benzalkonium chloride (BAC/BAK). I had, by that time, found that ophthalmic solutions containing BAC as a preservative were irritating to my eyes. This was a very effective eye wash for me but the company has since added BAC and I can no longer stand by my original positive review. Down from 5 stars to 1. Original review: *After failed cataract surgery and a severe reaction to the steroids that were prescribed for me my eyes are more than a bit of a mess. The ophthalmologist's office insisted that I use artificial tears multiple times a day and, of course, they did nothing for me but dry my eyes out further and inhibit my own tear production. This product has minimal ingredients (one of which is old faithful boric acid) which I like and, best of all, it works! It makes my eyes feel clean and allows my natural tears to once again do what they were meant to do. I'm very satisfied with this eye wash just as I have been with many Bausch and Lomb products over the years. As long as they keep making this I'll keep using it. (But I won't be seeing that ophthalmologist any more even if I could with the little eyesight I have left.)

this is an excellent product as it seems all of Bausch and Lomb products are…my eye drops are so good there are times i am like Superman and have x-ray vision…but, alas, only once but otherwise it sure helps my eyes hold off macular degeneration in both eyes for the last 30 years…if you buy this product i wish you all the luck in the world, but it will help more than you can imagine …mike

This is excellent for use on people w/dry eye. I have used this product for over 25 yrs. at bedtime and when I awake in the a.m. I also use it during the day if I have a problem. Going on the internet and not blinking your eyes periodically can definitely cause that irritation. It is much better than eye drops, which can irritate your eyes and are not as effective. FYI: I paid about $8 a bottle for this eyewash on this site on Amazon, thinking that Amazon would have the best price, and then found it for $4.19 ea. at my local grocery store (Ingle's), so you may want to look at your local grocery store first.

Bausch and Laumb eyewash is truly helpful for soothing dry or tired eyes and for washing out pollens and other irritants. I prefer to use it straight out of the bottle rather than in the eye cup provided, but the attached cap always threatens to be in the way, and you don’t want to fiddle with it too much for fear of contamination. Additionally, the cap is clumsy to open and the liquid pretty much uncontrollable, so plan on wasting some and catching it with a towel under your head. This is probably why people use the eye cup…but I’m never sure all my makeup or skin creams are completely off, and they would muck up the eye wash, too. I also wish the product was available in quantities less than half a dozen. If I had the eight eyes of a spider, there’d still be way too much, but nevertheless I prefer this product to expensive and especially preservative-filled eye drops. The solution itself is certainly beneficial.
