How long does opened mustard powder stay good?

I got 2 tins in September of 2014. I use it whenever I bring home Chinese food. The blister packs of Chinese Mustard all have vinegar in the mixwhich is contrary to the mustard I grew up using in all the finer Cantonese Restaurants in New York City.My mustard after one year is no worse for it's age, if I add too much, I still get the Chinese Dragon Syndrome heat, if not steam and flames rushing out my nose. I hope this helps.

How many cups of powder is this?

16 oz. of powder; but I think at least 3 cups. It's wonderful..have filled jars for our children and still have enough for at least 300 batches of potato salad and dozens of deviled eggs.

Where is the "Best by..." date on the 16OZ tin?

Good Question. The can itself states that the date will be on the lid, but I could find no decipherable date on the lid (or any where else).

Does this contain gluten?

Gluten occurs only in some species of grass, so there is no gluten in mustard.
