Great item. Does exactly what it’s meant to do and doesn’t slip on the carpet. I can open and close the door with no issues and so far our cats haven’t done anything to the carpet which is a big change! It seems very durable and looks subtle so you barely notice it’s there. Good value for money and easy to install. Perfect size for our door and easy set up instructions with safety advice.

Easy enough to cut down but likes to curl back up. Can easily be rectified by using a hair dryer to warm it up, spikes on the bottom are very sharp yet it still moves round a bit. Did what I needed it too however.

My new older kittens completely ripped up the carpet outside my bedroom door. I work night shifts and it's the only room I don't allow them in due to my sleep being precious. I put this outside and slightly inside and it has given me a perfect solution. It was easier than it looked to cut it to size and has remained in place whilst walking on it over time. The quality remains the same after a couple of months and would definitely purchase again when it comes time to replace the carpet and protect it.

Doesnt fit very well in the carpet, not very flexible with corners, it comes up from the carpet easily, little expensive for not fully at least attached to the carpet.

As long as you cut them down to size properly they work a treat. Door does get caught on them every now and then, but they have done the job and stopped the cats scratching the carpet. They have tried once or twice, but the product is very durable and they havent made a dent

These are a life saver! Our cats were forever scratching at our doorways resulting in them pulling up the carpet and blocking the doors on several occasions. With these in place, no more! They are super strong with a good thickness, easy to install and cut down to size as well as being wide enough to provide suitable coverage both sides of the doorway. If these ever get dirty they can be cleaned down with a simple wipe. So glad I bought these, at such a reasonable cost I'd be happy to buy more if we need them again!

Works great. The new kitty can scratch at the carpet by the bedroom door all she wants, she can't get to it now! It's tough but doable to cut this with regular scissors.

If you have a cat that scratches at the threshold buy this. My cat ruined my carpet and then I added this and I should have done it sooner. This fits perfectly in my standard door frame. It has prevented my cat from scratching and covered the area where he has exposed carpet tacks. It is simple, unroll, and sticks to the floor without lifting or sliding. The material is extremely sturdy, especially while your cat goes through the learning curve. It is super cheap for such an easy fix.

This really is a great idea to protect carpet! This is the first product I have ever seen that will truly fix the problem. It's so simple, but also still effective. I appreciate that most of the protector was already cut out and that I only had to cut it a little to make it a custom fit. There has been one small area of carpet at my bedroom doorway that was pulled up over a year ago that I have been concerned would keep growing. After placing this carpet protector over the spot, I no longer have to worry about it! Just note its measurements so you know what to expect because it is only about the width of one step. I thought it would be larger, but it seems to work at this width. You might want to lay it out the day before you want to use it and place something heavy over its ends to flatten it out. Also, watch your hands as you move it around because although the bottom side does not look sharp, it does sting a little if you keep touching the underside. The time this saved me from having to cut it at a curve myself and the fact that it did solve an issue that I couldn't think of a solution to makes it worth the money to me. I am thinking of getting another one too so I'll have an extra one if needed. The product description shows that it is cheaper per carpet protector if you buy 2 or 3 at a time. I am very satisfied with this carpet protector and highly recommend it!
