I ordered these for a DIY RC plane I was putting together. The control horns snap together with solid and confidence-building clicks, I could add glue to them but I haven't had any issues without glue thus far. I used a dremel with a metal cutting wheel (use eye/ear protection!) to cut the rods to the correct length when needed. There are 20 pieces of each component, despite the photo showing less for some. The steel rods were surprisingly not covered in a layer of oil. Everything was easy to install on my plane, and has worked well so far.

If you have a few foamies this will bring them back to life- along with some foam glue.

Better than the original. The rods are bullet proof and connectors are so much better the the ones that came on the plane. The barrel connectors with the set screw make adjustments super easy. I did not check the price of these from a hobby store, but I would be suprised if one piece would cost more than these for lesser quality. You want these!!

I've built several foamboard models with these and they make the process of setting up control surfaces so easy. The only issue I have is that the holes in the control horns are not appropriately sized for the linkage stopper. Which I suppose makes sense since it would be oversized if you were to add a z-bend. Or maybe I am doing it wrong. Regardless, I would recommend this again and again. It's a great value.

This is the perfect set

Per chi come me si diletta con modelli RC, avere sottomano un kit di ricambi per i collegamenti è sempre una buona idea. Ho preso questo set con tappi per aste, corni di controllo e aste a Z, e mi è tornato utile subito per alcune riparazioni e nuovi progetti. Il kit include un bell'assortimento di pezzi standard che servono speso: 15 tappi regolabili per aste da 1.3mm, 15 corni di controllo in nylon da 21x10mm, e 15 aste di spinta a Z da 1.2x210mm. Sono componenti che si usano comunemente per collegare i servi ai timoni o alettoni dei modelli. Avere un po' di questi pezzi di scorta ti salva quando rompi qualcosa o ti serve un pezzo al volo mentre stai costruendo. I materiali (nylon per i corni, metallo per le aste) sembrano adeguati per uso modellistico normale. Come appunti, questo set è pensato per modelli RC di dimensioni piccole o medie che usano aste e collegamenti da 1.2/1.3mm. Per modelli più grandi o con esigenze di maggior resistenza, potresti aver bisogno di parti più robuste. La qualità è buona per l'hobby, ma non sono componenti "heavy-duty" per applicazioni estreme. Ma per quello che servono, vanno benissimo e rapporto quantità/prezzo è discreto. Nel complesso, questo set di tappi, corni e aste a Z è un kit di ricambio molto pratico per gli hobbisti di modelli RC. Ti dà un buon numero di parti comuni che sono sempre utili da avere a portata di mano per manutenzione o nuove realizzazioni. Lo consiglio a chiunque costruisca o ripari modelli RC e voglia avere i pezzi giusti nel cassetto.
