OK, so you have the app on your phone or the application installed on your computer, but having a screen visible as you approach the printer is just useful. I was aware the pri ter didn't ship with one, so bought it as an extra. The best bit is, you chose and print the desired enclosure for it! This may not be a big thing to most but I loved that. And, as with most 3d prints there's so many options, and if you change your mind...just print another! Screen is bright and easily readable, provides all the relevant info you need when the prints running. Well worth the additional cost.

A great addition to the Ankermate M5C 3D printer, despite the size it gives information such as printer state, time left, end time and so much more without having o revert to tablet or phone.

Feines Display, funktioniert auf anhieb. Notwendig zum Drucken ist er nicht, aber fein. Es zeigt den Aktuellen Schritt/Zustand an, geschätzte Druckzeit, Düsen und Bodenheizung und auch das was gedruckt wird. Was mich stört ist das man KEIN Gehäuse dazu bekommt, sondern man selber nach einem suchen und ausdrucken muss. Das Kabel was man dazubekommt ist viel zu kurz, da muss man schon ca. 1m Kabel dazu kaufen (USB-C zu USB-C) Da es rein nur um das Display selbst geht 5/5 Sterne weil es genau macht was es soll und auch gut verarbeitet ist.

Habe mir dieses Display gekauft um nicht ständig auf das Handy schauen zu müssen. Sind alle wichtigen Informationen auf dem Display. Ja es ist ein normales TFT nicht Blickstabil aber macht ja nichts. Ich finde es ein nettes extra. Muss jeder selbst entscheiden ob er es braucht ich finde es sehr nützlich.
