Question 1

Will these survive being run over by suvs and caravans?  have broken a bunch of the molded plastic models, need something sturdier.  thanks!!

These are made from heavy duty rubber and they're not brittle and don't crack like the regular plastic ones but they're not invincible. If you cut them with something sharp, pieces will break off.  But if someone is repeatedly running them over with SUV's or other machines, I'd ask why aren't they being more careful? No reason for anyone to be repeatedly running these things over; if you're using them underneath downspouts, they must be pretty close to your house so seems odd that an SUV would be that close to any structure but that's just my opinion.

Question 2

How wide is the splash block at the discharge end?  product description says it is 20 inches. one q&a sys it is & 1/2 inch.  causes some confusion thx

The discharge end has a curb on each side.  Inside, between the curbs, the width is eight inches.  The outside width is ten and one-quarter inches.

How highis this? The dimensions look a bit much

It is 21 inches long, 2 inches high on (the side ridges), and 7 1/2 inches wide at the top. Perfect size to get water away from foundation & heavy enought to stay put, not blowing in the wind!

Question 4

How well do these stand up to weed trimmer abuse?  Anyone had experience with that?

They are heavy duty rubber but not indestructible. Weed trimmers damage a lot of things so depending upon where the block gets hit, it may crack or break off a piece of the rubber edge. Mine actually came slightly damaged with a corner that broke off during shipping but I glued it back on. I think only a cement splash block might survive a weed trimmer.
