This works well and can easily fit small to medium parcels in it. Holes in the bottom ensure any water getting in would quickly disperse. Quite sturdy. Large capacity. Also means there’s no need for a mail slot in our door!

I'd give 4.5 stars if I could. It is a great big letter / small parcel box. I read a lot of reviews before committing and I'd agree with some of the comments, namely that there is a little water let in via the bottom left of the door. But it is only a little. If any comes in via the four bolt holes at the back then that is your issue, not the seller's. Once bolted to a brick wall, just put some CT1 sealant around each bolt area to keep water out. I also agree that the lock is cheap, but then all letter boxes have these sort of locks. I've just applied a generous spray of lithium grease in the hope that allows the lock to stay young longer. The box itself is a good size, it would take a ton of mail or a couple of shoe box sized parcels. I did buy a sign saying to open the lid and used gorilla mount tape to stick it permanently to the box. I also removed the QR code sticker that couriers are invited to scan (how many would do this and who cares anyway?) and instead typed a note in its place telling couriers to places letters and parcels 'in here' with some down arrows. That area is hidden when the box is closed, so they only read that after they've followed instructions and opened the lid. I covered my typed note with some clear waterproof gorilla tape to ensure it lasts. That area does not get wet anyway (and it has been well tested for wet and windy weather recently). Never over-estimate couriers ability to open a simple box. I think and instruction to open the lid is necessary, despite it being seemingly very obvious! The seller is right to say you need two people to mount the box. Though I ignored that and did it myself. I drilled one of the top two holes and mounted the box with the one bolt, not fully tightened. I then straightened the box and using a spirit level to get it level, I then marked the other three holes. I then removed the single bolt I had used and drilled out the other three holes and then attached the box after that. It was a bit of a fiddle and not recommended but it can be done single-handed if you've got a bit of experience. I used the bolts provided as they seem very good and while the rawplugs provided are good too, I did use my own Fischer Duopower wall plugs which are excellent. I used 10mm drill bit and rawplug for 10mm, which necessitates use of a 13mm socket. For tightening I used a socket attached to my makita impact driver. I made the holes in the brickwork using 10mm SDS makita drill. I tightened up the bolts manually at the end using 13mm socket. I am really a very amateur DIYer and it wasn't too hard. The box itself, despite my minor criticisms is really good. I dont know how long it will last before rusting, hopefully a few years at least. So glad I upgraded from a normal-sized letter box (which are all simply too small). I think the box is quite stylish and it is powder coated. I would buy again.

Better quality than expected for the price. Easy to mount though definitely a 2 person job due to size and weight. I like the bar code that can be registered to my address for proof of courier delivery. Seems large enough for most packages, so very practical.

Box is very well made, nicely finished and, I think, adds to the look of the house. I've not had any issues with water getting inside, despite recent heavy rains. Best to have someone on hand to help with fitting as it ideally requires two people. Only issue I have is not with the box but with the delivery drivers and post who still insist on ringing the doorbell to handover packages or leave them next door when the box is located beside the front door. One Amazon driver even left a package on top of the box!!

Excellent! Takes away any worry about having to be in when small parcels are being delivered. I would have got a bigger size if I could afford it and have the space for it, but I am very happy with the product 90% of my parcels delivered fits into the box

if only it was big enough that the postmen could see it. They still leave on the door step and its massive! It's really great

I bought this as I had a Labrador who like to eat my letters as well as I didn’t like the Amazon fella dropping my packages off next door.. it was easy to drill onto the house wall and is secure. It’s been fine for the past 5 yrs now. It comes with 2 keys. The Amazon and post man are used to using it (I tapped the letter box up) and it’s just as good as the day I bought it ( even though it’s gone up in price a lot!) A good purchase for households but those with businesses and have packages everyday you need much sturdy as drivers and employees are not careful and will break the lock.

Nach dem der Zusteller mit der ersten Bestellung Probleme mit der Anlieferung hatte - aus offensichtlichen Gründen, bei der Bestellung eines Briefkastens - habe ich den Support kontaktiert und das Problem auf die denkbar einfachste Art und Weise schnell, effizient und wirkungsvoll behoben. Perfekt - sollte ich wieder einen Briefkasten (der an sich wirklich perfekt, besonders für diesen Preis, ist) benötigen, schaue ich zuerst hier nach. Das sagt alles.
