once the bottle is opened how long does it stay fresh?

Hi, if out in a bowl then replace after 12 hours. The rest in the bottle to be refrigerated and lasts 3 days, but can be frozen too for 12 months so a year. I portion out the amounts for my cat into Seperate little mini lunch boxes and put them in the freezer so never have to worry about them going off after 3 days in fridge. I just take one out of freezer at night and put it in the fridge to depfrost safely and its ready to use for the next day and already portioned out. Hope this helps.

Why is it low fat, when fat is a natural and necessary part of a cat's diet, and how could this be supplemented?

I would imagine for liver and/or pancreas problems as fat metabolism is an issue with one or both of these. Believe it or not coconut oil is a fave for my mogs!
