Gigantosaurus (Jonny Duddle)

A fantastic book, loved by my 21 month-old boy and 4 year-old girl. A tale about the brilliantly named 'Bonehead' crying wolf, with great rhyming and actions to perform. Impeccable illustrations with bold colours and impact, and new details you notice with each read. Only minor criticism is that the ending is a little flat compared with the rest of the story. We look forward to the next one Mr Duddle!

Great story for my 3 year old grandson who has just started to watch gigantasaurus. His mum said they read the book 4 times to start with.

My son is dinosaur crazy and loves this book which is a cry wolf tale set in the Cretaceous. Has a happy ending which maybe spoils the gory chomping scene . Brilliant drawings very like the other JD books I’ve bought. I love the rich detail in the pirate series and this has the same but with dinosaurs instead. Everyone happy at bedtime bonus

This story is brilliant. Loved by my 5 and 3 year old. I'm a teacher and this is well written and would be good for a dinosaur topic in school. Great fun and good to discuss family, friendship and accepting different personalities.

Big hit with my young boy who is in a Dino phase... The story, albeit "The boy who cried wolf" doppelganger, is fun to read out loud, the pages are wide and shiny, the surprise Gigantosaurus fold out is a cool extra, and the informative 4 pages at the end are a nice addition for curious minds. I myself learned a few things. The illustrations seem better with every read: I keep finding new details, which is a lot of fun to point out to my little one. Rather cryptic ending to the story, though. Can't give 5 stars, but don't regret buying it.

My kids love this book, bought this as a gift for their friend, who also loved it. Great story, great illustrations, can’t praise the author enough.

My 2 and a bit year old joins in to have this book read to him every evening before bed. He calls it Dinosaurus! Amazing illustration, catchy rhyming and parent manageable 'peril' for the young ones. The boy who cried wolf with dinosaurs and huge imagination.

This is an adorable book! My 3 year old loves it. The illustrations are great. I wish I had gone ahead and got the hardcover instead of the board book. The board book is smaller enough some of the details in the pictures are lost. Either way it's a new favorite.

My son absolutely loves this book! We have read it so many times and repaired it so many times we’ve had to buy a second one for him (his little sister can be a bit rough with books still too). Highly recommend! Some of the character names are different from the tv show but if you’re familiar with it you can just substitute them out yourself. Oh, my son also is currently sleeping with this book because he loves it so much lol

This is the book that led to the TV series. The language is suitable for kids, and the illustrations are vivid. A good book for the kids 4-8
