The very Best Bottled Hot Sauce I've ever had
A couple years ago I was in Gilroy, CA. I discovered these at the Bell Station along the way. I almost didnt pick them up due to the price. But i decided to give it a shot...used 1/3 of the bottle that night. Went back the next day to pick up 8 more bottles to take home with me. Does that tell you something? This is my favorite hot sauce of all time. I love it with my grilled meats. It marries my Pork Shoulder Sirloins, Country Ribs, and Flap Steaks with my custom rubs off the grill. Im a life long Customer now. Just got 4 more in today. Saw reviews about broken bottles through Amazon but they seem to have remedied the situation and now throughly wrap and seal them up. Original and Chunky Garlic are the best 2. I switch between them often. I consume a bottle a week now. Helps me stay Ketovore. Savory, hearty, not like the rest. I only keep these, Tobasco, and Cholula Chipotle sauce on rotation now. That is the best hot sauce rotation for sweet/salty/spicey or zesty/tangy/salty/spicey you're ever going to get for grilled meat + sauce. For reference my custom rubs use hickory, black & red pepper, garlic, onions, paprika, oregano just to give you an idea of what I'm working with. Hope it helps you out

Love The Pepper Plant hot sauces!
I absolutely love these hot sauces! My favorite is the Chunky Garlic, which adds just the right amount of extra spiciness to chili. Delicious!

A unique and diverse sauce which pairs really well with breakfast items
I was born and raised in California, and was introduced to this sauce 10 or so years ago at a place in the Sacramento Delta called Tony's. They provided a bottle with my meal to put in their beans. I had never tried it before, so I decided to take a taste of it and was blown away by how different this is compared to most sauces. I have found this sauce works best on breakfast items and if you've never had it, it's dang tasty. With that said, there downside to this sauce IMO is that it's saltier than it needs to be. I have wished for years that they'd offer a lower sodium version, but they continue to produce these two flavors. Of the two, I prefer the classic over the garlic version. With that said, both are good. I'm not a huge garlic person, or should I say, I like garlic, but in moderation. If you're looking for a sauce that is different than pretty much everything else out there, give this a whirl. You may find yourself reordering shortly there after.

Very tasty and thicker than usual hot sauce.
Um, can one become addicted to a hot sauce? Admittedly the answer is, yes. This is my favorite sauce, both versions. A little bit thick with lots of complexity. Pour over sour cream for a delicious pop of a combination and thank me later. Nice enough to tie a ribbon on and give as a gift, which I have done. But only if you are willing to give up a precious bottle and they like real spicy! Would make a welcome gifty combo to send since the delivery option makes it so easy. I just thought of someone who would appreciate it! Giving credit where credit is due for whomever came up with these sauce recipes and kept the quality consistent. Rest assured, I am a real buyer who first tried this stuff on eggs at an old California restaurant and became a fan ever since, not some fakey reviewer.

I could do shots of this stuff. It's that good.
I don't think I've ever been this impressed with a hot sauce. I saw this stuff mentioned in a reddit post, and impulsively bought it. I'm still not sure why, since I'm really not a big hot sauce guy. Having grown up in Memphis BBQ, I'm actually not much of a sauce guy, PERIOD. This stuff has me questioning the validity of that claim, though. I actually went digging in the fridge for thing to put it on. It's not super spicy, and it's a warmer, gentle heat, rather than a sharp front-of-mouth heat. It's salty, but not filled with salt. It's got distinct black pepper flavor along with the usual tang, and I swear there's cumin and smoked Paprika on the back end. There appears to be minced garlic in there, but it's not overwhelming. It's thicker and slightly chunky compared to typical pepper sauce, and the chunky variety is obviously chunkiER. It has a smoky finish that COULD be the. Smoked Paprika, since I'm not getting the "wet funk" smell liquid smoke can have. Bottom line: Don't sleep on this one. I'm already working out a BBQ sauce recipe with this stuff. Might be the BBQ sauce that changes my mind!

Great condiment for just about anything...
Our first exposure to this was at Urban Plates and I can't get enough of the garlic or the original varieties. They make everything taste better, not only because of the salt factor but there's a burst of flavor that is hard to describe. Basically you can use this instead of Tabasco on just about anything and it'll taste good. There's a smokiness to it, chipotle like, with a nice kick of heat that's not too spicy, just enough to know it's there. The reasons I like it better than most hot sauce type condiments (outside of flavor/taste) are: 1) it's nice and thick, not watery so it's easier to dip but liquid enough to mix in to things like chili and mac & cheese or whatever; 2) don't need as much because the salt factor kinda limits you from putting too much anyways... i like salt though; and 3) not so spicy the kids can't eat it (7 year old is good with it). Only issue I have is not really knowing what the price point should be on this. It's hard to find, but it's more a relative issue if that makes sense. I'm willing to pay the approx. $10 per bottle because it's worth it to me, but honestly not sure if that's too much or too little. Still a great condiment and will continue to use/purchase.

Pretty good Hot Sauce
Definitely a decent hot sauce, this hot sauce is on the thicker chunkier side and has a good heat level. I generally like saltier things but like some reviews mentioned, this sauce is pretty salty. I like this hot sauce, but will keep searching for something more my style.

Chunky Garlic
Purchased these for my husband. He loves the chunky garlic flavor the best although both are good. Arrived timely. Will purchase again.
