Loved this kit was so fun to make and felt smart building the kit came out really well and brings BD-1 to life, the customer service was some of the best I’ve experienced and they helped with so much, the rating of 5/5 isn’t close to how much I wanna give i love it all

I love building Lego sets but I've got absolutely no experience with circuitry so I was worried I might not be able to install the custom pieces. The picture guide was mostly very easy to follow and it only took about 30 minutes to get everything added. The pieces can be a little tricky to snap together if you struggle with fitting tiny pieces together. You do also need 3 triple A batteries and then a coin battery for the remote to be able to light up your BD-1. It looks great overall, the wires aren't that noticeable, and I'm very impressed with the lighting options on the remote!

I was a little skeptical to start. Shipping international took a little time and putting it together takes patience but the product is incredible. Shines as bright as imaged if not brighter. I had trouble with a piece and the company went out of there way to make sure I was satisfied. If you are on the line of buying this, do it. I’m very satisfied

Love the addition of these lights to our BD-1 model. Complicated assembly with decent instructions. Did need to further modify some Lego parts so that the wires didn’t get pinched, and/or would stay attached. A good seat of detail files definitely came in handy.

Iam quite familiar with lighting sets for legos and have used various in the past. This includes having to use glue at times but no real big deal. However this set was very frustrating. I followed along with the YouTube instruction manual. However from the get-go the eye piece which to me is one of the most important part did not even fit. The left eye to be exact. Not the accepting end of the clear piece was to small and the male end would not fit. I tried sand paper, razor blade to widen the hole but zilch. Got no where real quick. All in all I was super hyped for this light set but basically couldn’t get past step one (the eyes secondary to poor fit. As another reviewer above mentioned for a price close to half of the actual Lego set I am extremely disappointed. I really wish this would have worked.
