Brita Large Water Filter Pitcher for Tap and Drinking Water with SmartLight Change Indicator, Includes 1 Standard Filter, BPA-Free, Lasts 2 Months, 10-Cup Capacity, Stretch Limo Black

I was surprised how thin the plastic was and now realize why it cracks at the bottom so easily when you place the heavy jug on the granite countertop. I circumvented that by putting small, stick-on rubber feet/dots to absorb the pounding when placing it on the counter. I've also decided not to put this in the dishwasher since the heat can ruin this thin plastic. I was glad to find a jug that took the regular Britta filters.

love this product... we have to use little pieces of tape to hold the top on as all britas it has a design fault.Otherwise love love love that it holds enough water to fill the dog dish and the teapot. With a soft easy grip handle!

First, with all the chemicals and not sure what else may be in the water I prefer filtering with a trusted system. We have one attached to the sink but it’s hard to read the date of when it was put in and also difficult to replace. I love the convenience of having the pitcher by the sink. I fill it twice to fill my water bottles for the day. I also use it for my coffee. We use a drip machine so I fill the hopper in the evening and set it for morning. The pitcher is easy to handle, not too heavy when full, the filter works well and the water has no funny taste. It also works quickly. I sometimes add a mix (like a lemonade packet) and it tastes like the flavor added, very pure. The amount I need at one time the pitcher is the perfect size. I am glad to make an investment in my peace of mind. We had it over a month now and I keep an eye on the light for a filter change. So far it’s been green. Water purity is no longer a concern.

I bought one of these 5 years ago, since then my four kids have been slamming this thing around on a daily bases. We have also moved three times in that period. Last week when I picked it up out of the refrigerator to pour myself a glass the top of the handle cracked. Mind you it is still functional but I am going to by an exact replacement now.Highly recommend! I definitely got my money worth.

LOVE my Brita! I had been looking at Brita’s for awhile and wanted one that could hold enough water that I was not refilling constantly. Well here it is! I keeps me going for a few days worth (I drink a lot of water). I fill my Swell bottle and there I go. I have been meaning to switch from plastic water bottles so I was not contributing to the horrible plastic waste they leave behind and this was the best answer I could get! It does get heavy with the water but it’s worth every penny! You can honestly taste how clean it is compared to tap water as well.
