Universal Stainless Steel Pizza Oven Kit

Been making pizza on the grill with just a stone for years. Works pretty good but long cook times and not enough top heat were issues. This definitely solves them. Cook times cut almost in 1/2 and tops and bottom perfectly cooked

My pizza in the conventional oven was lack luster. Looking to up my game so I researched Ooni. They look so awesome, I just don't have the room inside or out for one.. :( After much research and thought, this seemed to be my best option and smallest storage requirement. Check the measurements on my Napoleon grill. Decided to give it a try. I received it, fired it up on med/low as recommened and 15 minutes, ready to go @ 600 degrees. I should've checked the stone temp, but just simply forgot. Was nervous that the top was going to cook faster than the bottom. Kept rotating. Came out Great! Second cooked faster of course. Still total 8 minutes tops. Delicious results. Next time, going to check the stone temp and maybe give it another 10 minutes to heat the stone. I'm so glad I took the chance rather than adding another propane appliance.

This pizza oven functions great on a gas grill. It appears to be well built and not too heavy and cumbersome. It does build up quite a bit of heat needed to cook a pizza. The only complaint I have is with the temperature gauge. Once the oven goes above 500, the window begins to form this brownish tint and there doesn’t appear to be any way to clean it. I can still read the gauge though so this is good value for the money.

This thing rocks. I should get commission. Literally, six of my friends have purchased as a result of me! Lets be honest...its a knock off of a more expensive name brand one. It works awesome however...check out the pics.. I have it on a weber summit over 4 burners. I was even experimenting with my smoker box putting wood smoke flavor into the pizza. Few negatives: No instructions whatsoever. I don't use the included thermo as it sticks down into the oven and I thought it would be in the way. I have a handheld laser type. It easily gets over 700 degrees (I found 650 the magic number)! People say their cover warped, Mine did not. I put the cover in the grill first and heated it a few minutes on medium then slid the stone in and turned up the heat. Pizza cooks in 3-4 minutes. You have to rotate every minute or so. Everything I have read elsewhere says do not wash the stone with soap as it porous and will abosorb soap and your pizza will taste like soap. Other than that. WOW I LOVE IT. My guests were blown away. Send me a new (Clean) one and I will make a video and help you write a manual to promote it.

As someone who already has multiple grills, I didn't want to buy a dedicated pizza oven. This is a great compromise to get similar results to an Ooni. The instructions state this should be used with the grill hood open, but I've found the best approach is to have the grill hood down and all of the burners on low for at least 30 minute for the stone to get hot enough (Weber Genesis 3 burner). This kit produces pizza with a crispy crust on the bottom and the heat from the steel hood does an awesome job on the top of the pizza. I noticed other reviews calling out the sturdiness of the hood with it warping in the heat, but I've had no issues with that. Overall a great value that produces great pizzas without having to buy a dedicated pizza oven.

It does its job and temp goes up to 750 degrees but thermometer became completely black after 10 minutes so its unreadable

Excellent product, works perfectly on my Weber spirit gas grill.

I've been dabbling with pizza on my gas grill for about two years now. They came out pretty good but I could never get the crust nice and crispy. I started looking at these type of oven kits and one of my top criteria was size. I did not want to be making 12" pies. With this kit you can easily do a 16" pie. I tried this yesterday and was amazed. The pizza cooked quickly and evenly. Just keep turning it every few minutes. And the crust was nice and crispy. Another tip, after the first pie the oven is super hot. So keep a close eye on the second one as it will cook much faster and can burn. I highly recommend this.
