The flavors and taste of this curry are nice and I would say overall it is good value for the money, but my only issue with it is it's not as spicy or rich as I had hoped it would be. I've made about 3 curries with the Mae Ploy Massaman curry so far and I find it's better if I add a tablespoon more than what I'm used to using. The packaging and seal are ideal, and I keep in in the fridge between uses.

This came highly recommended. I had to use so much paste to get a reasonable curry flavor that I don't think I would purchase it again

This is the best massaman paste on the market. I prepare mine using oso bucco minus the bone. Cut into medium pieces, add onions and potatoes cut into medium pieces. Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of this paste and 2 tablespoons of peanut butter, smooth or crunchy your choice and fill the pan up so as you have enough water to fully cook the meat and allow to reduce the liquid amount and allow to simmer for a 1 to 2 hours so that the meat is so soft...taste test it and if desired add 1 more tablespoon of paste and coconut milk then allow a further 15 to 20 mins to really set off the flavour. Make sure there is not too much liquid or it will be runny and weak. Fantastic product and always in my fridge because the family begs me to make this when they visit.

This is what you want when making massaman curry. It makes my home cooking taste just like my favorite restaurant, without the long drive. the paste is in a plastic bag inside the tub. Contains enough you should be able to make multiple batches. Delicious!
